Nightclubs are so much fun

nightclubz are crap- you're sucked into thinking they're amazing whe they really aren't

Depends a lot on the company and quality of the club, had some good nights out like one of my friend's birthdays with a good crowd and started in some moderately trendy clubs (though it was downhill from there).

Agree about nightclubs, I used to like them but I just can't anymore. I think that's what I've learned tonight :/ I only really went out because my friend wanted me to. I do feel bad though that I left him in there without saying goodbye, the alcohol just hit me fast and made me feel really really crap.

Just trying to get out of the funk I got in and asking myself why I didn't like it so much.

I just think I'm done with drinking. Booze is like pouring cement in your fuel tank. Its just crap. Its like greasing up your hands before you go rock climbing. Its like head butting a wall to look better. Its like pouring sand in your smoothy. You can still perform but you perform in spite of the booze/slodgness.

I've not drank a drop of booze since April and I've never felt better. Its a sad industry and preys on youth, health and relies on 'tradition' to continue. I'd rather drink some fruit juice when I'm out with mates. Then you can tell when you're REALLY having a good time or not.

Screw it I'm staying sober. Gonna Smash life as a teetotaler.

Just Googling up 'drunk images'. Don't wanna be in that caliber group.

I just dont have time to waste escaping reality via booze and talking a lot but not really saying anything.
Been there, done that.
Just got life time to live these days. Besides, there is enough boring drunks or semi drunk sheep out there to keep the other sheep company.

Sorry sheep. ;)
Everyday is the day. Life is the party. Every moment is a celebration.

oh ffs grow up, great you quit drinking doesn't mean you can get up on a high horse and call anyone who likes a drink a sheep.

I've just finished another 12 hour saturday night shift so was a crap night again.

Still at least i've saved some money by not going out and watch other people have lives instead of me :(

Regarding night clubs, I've always found them to be hostile environments, but I do enjoy nice country pubs with beer gardens.

Yeah it does looking at it now :/ Didn't mean to be though! Got carried away there on the topic. Hopefully made someone else who's come in from a bad night smile though

I'd rather sit in a pub that doesn't have stupidly loud music and have a chat.

100% this. I only go to clubs if a) there is a musician I want to hear there or b) it's someone's birthday and they insist on listening to Rhianna all night and getting sticky shoes.

I'm 25 years old and I went to an Italian restaurant that is very hard to get a table at, then ended up at the local for a few quiet pints.

I think I'm 50 btw. I can't stand nightclubs and I would much rather sit in the local with a few mates and actually be able to hear what they are saying. #oldbeforemytime

Yes I just used a hashtag on OcUK, so what.

Well I'm 50 (as near as dammit :p) & I hated nightclubs too when I was your age. Can't hear yourself think & the prices for watered down booze beggars belief. Can't help but think you are never going to meet a nice girl in that sort of place, & the ratio of males/females is three or four to one. Plus the fact you could end up being 'happy slapped' too.

+1 for the pub, especially if its not part of a chain & its out of town somewhere quiet.

You lot need to try going to a proper nightclub that focuses on good music and not just places that are about getting drunk and pulling while listening to rubbish pop music.

Sorry for tne shakey camera, I was flying at this point :p
