Which mod do you guys find works best? I have the 'MultiVape' mod that they have started selling in my local BP garage, and so far it's pretty impressive.
However, it's quite large (about 6 inches in length), you don't get any spare clearomizers or batteries, and they are £9.99 each (the clearomizer and battery that is). New to vapeing (smoker for 12 years) and I have no idea on any other mods/liquids etc so I'm trying to learn
I don't want anything expensive as money is a bit tight at the moment (Baby due in Sept), but I need something that will last a fair while so I don't have to keep buying replacement parts. Is my 'MultiVape' going to last a fair while before other parts are needed? Or I guess you just can't tell?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
It really depends on how you view it. Doesn't really matter what you buy, as you will likely spend more on real cigarettes anyway. So, in my opinion, you are probably best to spend your money once, and spend it right. You could get cheaper gear, but it will cost more in the long run.
So you have to decide if you would prefer to cheap out, or go all in. Remembering of course, that if you decide to quit vaping, the gear should still be worth something, and unlike almost everything else second hand, the values usually remain quite high.
So, with that in mind, I'll tell you what I would do if I were you, knowing that this is working for me, and wanting the most cost-effective long term solution.
I would go for a kayfun clone. This is the atomiser / cartridge element. This will come in a little over £20 depending on where you buy it. If you can wait on the slow boat, it will be a few quid cheaper, otherwise you can source in the UK. Make sure it is the V2, as in this link :

Ideally you'll be wanting a couple, so you have back-ups, and can easily change flavour, but that is up to you. The reason I will advise this is that it is a very good clone of a high end atty. It is completely rebuildable, so you make your own coils. Something that can be daunting at first, but in reality is very simple.
Now the reason you want to go rebuildable is that making coils is very cheap. You can buy 50m of Kanthal wire here for £6.50 and a single coil will only need 10cm tops, and should last many weeks :

Wick can be made from cotton wool. A substance you are about to have LOADS of with a new baby on the way, but you use very little anyway (although you will probably change the wick every few days), and it is very cheap to buy. This works out a LOT cheaper than replacing heads on regular atties, which are often £2-£3 per head, and will only last a couple weeks tops.
There are LOADS of youtube videos out there that explain how to make your own coild using these materials on this device, so you should have a wee look.
Then you will need a mod. Something variable wattage would be preferred. I have a couple Vamo's and quite like them :

Thats another £20. You will also need batteries and a charger. These batteries, and this seller are excellent :

Then, for a charger, this would do fine :

That's probably what I would go for, or you can bin the vamo, batteris and charger for a MVP V2, which is a great little device. Can be had for £37 here in the UK,
http://myepack.co.uk/mods/itaste-mvp-v2-0-metal-grain.html charges via USB, and is VW etc. But, once the battery is dud, the whole device needs changed. And with the Vamo, if your battery dies while out and about, you can just change it. Not possible with the MVP.
So, it seems like a lot of money to kick off, but actually, once you have it all, keeping vaping will be very cheap. Really just your e-liquid you'll be needing from then on, and places like Joose Juice (
https://www.joosejuice.co.uk/shop/c...dYE1MhOVFEwx36iJJw2aEIvYErGu&shop_param=cid=&) do 10ml for £1.50.
Get set up with the correct gear first, and you can save yourself a LOT of money long term, and at the same time, have a better vaping experience. AND have some residual value left in the products. Them multivape things are pretty much worth nothing as soon as you have opened the box.
Short term cheap option. Just buy the Ego Kits from Home Bargains at £5.99. They aint great, but they will do the job. Will need replaced reasonably regularly though...
