Personally I think he is or was. I think if the World Cup had been last summer we would be seeing a different Messi. Just unfortunate timing for the guy, hes not on form for one reason or another.

Messi is a fantastic player. But I think his peak has been. People who shine so early tend to peak earlier (rooney?). Also Messi was pumped with seroids etc as a kid, i wouldn't be surprised if his body falters sooner than others.
