Tbh, i was going to upgrade mine to a ambilight clone but really once the novelty has warn off its always on white or dark blue.

i have a lightpack it took a bit of tweaking to set it up right, but it is awesome now i have it finely tuned

My experience with the Lightpack is that the software is buggy, consumes CPU cycles (My Windows Aero stuttered even with the latest Lightpack firmware and software update) and one of my LED strips arrived DOA.

When I returned the lightpack the company offered me only 40% of the $119 back then upped it later to $100 when I complained. They then spent an ice age refunding the full amount after I complained endlessly and emailed them every other day.

Basically Lightpack is a good idea but executed poorly with poor customer service if you need to return for a full refund, which you are entitled to according to their website!
 
i fancy one of these led light strips for the sake of a £10, but do you have to be constantly using the remote to change the lights? (when mounted behind the tv) for it to look right or do you just leave it as is.
?

Just pick a colour you like, it's more for ambient light and reducing eye strain than anything else. If you want to have one that adapts to the picture see some of the stuff posted above, but it'll cost much more.

i guess its hard for them to cater for every OS on the planet, i have no problems at all with the software on Win 7, i seem to remember reading something about some people getting duff strips, i thought they sent out replacement to the effected customers?

Just need to but the LG Magic Remote now, and some extra glasses
 
I must be getting too old as I keep buying stuff for the kitchen ..:o

Just Bought a new £270 Samsung 32Litre microwave and £70 Breville Kettle
and some £15 salter kitchen scales (Scale not in picture)

Now looking at which mixer & blender to buy...:p

I'd buy some cleaner to clean that grout between the tiles :p
