65km with 600m climb tonight, I hadn't planned on going that far but just got in the zone and was enjoying it.

Got to 50km and felt like I was hitting the wall, pushed through just about but my legs are feeling it now, obviously needed something to snack on.

Glad I'm not attempting the Rapha Rising, 1000m climbing isn't bad, but not back to back for 8 days!

As of this morning 5'10 - 63.7kg :)

From a few posts back^^

Jeez you guys must be thin?? Im 5ft 11 @ 73kg and im stick thin with a 30" waist and tiny legs. I don't like wearing bibs because im that thin:D

Out of interest what bibs do you guys wear at similer weight and height to me? thats the only thing i struggle with my thin legs and baggy bottoms.

Ta

5'10 and 70kg at the moment. Same as you, small waist at 30" ish. Generally wear a medium in most stuff but it's usually too tight on the thighs if the waist fits, particularly those with the bands around the end of the shorts legs. I don't find many tight running shorts or tights with thighs that fit well. My thighs are a bit on the big side though, because I've been riding fixed gear. I'll naturally trim down about 5kg when I start marathon training in a few weeks because I won't be riding as much and it'll drop off my legs.

Ah you are right. I'd want black so will have to get the other one.

Do shoe covers actually save many wattz?

I think a couple of watts. Not going to make you national champ but should see an improvement.

I'm going all out for a end of season PB though, I've bought 'faster' tyres too.

Oh and as a relative fatty at 182cm and 78kg I recently bought some dhb bibs in large

I'm 5'9 and 88kg and would love to get to 80kg, but I like food to much. Safe to say I'll never be a proper climber, but I love hills.

I'm off to Wales for the next week and I'm taking by bike with me. One of the routes I've mapped out in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has a Cat 2 climb. Looking forward to it :D

I'm the same height and weight but have a 32" waist I think.

I've got large madison pro bib shorts and a pair of santini tempo ones that fit fine.

Castelli gear I usually have to go up to a XL or XXL from a medium in practically everything else. No idea who dreamt up their LOLsizing, so don't feel like you're a fatty if you have to buy a 5XL :D

Cool, I'm going all out too for this sprint relay. Not too fussed how we do as a team (our swimmer is a wheelchair user so transition from the water to me will be interesting) but I'm keen to get high on the cycle standings for the 20km sprint!

Got TT bike, aero helmet, speedsuit, shoe covers and I'll be shaving my legs again.:D

The definition of all the gear...no idea.:p
