Jesus Christ! I have been vaping on my Kayfun for about 2/3 months now, have only just seen a video where a bloke fully opens the air flow.

Never even noticed it, now vaping full open and it's like a whole new world.

Can't believe I never noticed it before, kept thinking the draw was tight compared to my pals Kayfun, just though it was how mine was made!

What a noob.

But the SX ships have proper buck-boost. :)

I had a DNA20, now a DNA30, but I'm interested in the SX for sure. I like the idea of the bypass mode, but do also like the idea of a regulated 50w, and 0.2 Ohm resistance. Will bring my dripping to a new level, although will do nothing for my battery life I'm sure. So it'll be dual 18650 SX350 mod for me, lol.

Anyone here have a mini aerotank and make their own coils?

I have a mini protank 2 and make my own coils for this but it's on it's way out and I like the look of the mini aerotank. However I am finding it hard to come across guides / videos unlike the mini protank 2 of which the internet has hundreds.

If you can rebuild the Mini Protank 2, you can rebuild a Kanger dual coil no problem (the revised version mind - the original dual coil by kanger was crap).

Here's an image of the new dual coils:

Its a little more difficult to get the top chimney off, you'll need two pliers and a twist and it'll come out. The rubber grommet sits on top of the chimney and is much smaller, but that just creates the seal with the atty so it can stay on.

Notice the small oval hole in the side? That's the juice hole. There is an identical one on the other side. You need to remove the coils and silica in there already, then drop your new coil into the cup, align it with the holes on the side of the cup, hold it in place by putting a small screwdriver through the juice holes and the coil - hold it in place at the top of the oval section and bend your wires as before then replace the insulator and centre pin in exactly the same manner you do with your existing kanger coils.

Then thread your cotton through the juice hole, through the coil and out of the juice hole other side. I have actually found that the need to thread the cotton through the juice feed hole and out of the other side is causing me to use much less cotton, which is a good thing for a microcoil.

I leave about 3-5mm of cotton poking out either side, fluff up the cotton tails, charge it with juice and check resistance then screw it into the atty and away you go. Happy days.

Hope that helps.

Tonight I cleaned out again as my Scopes Apple tart arrived, to be honest I can badly taste anything different from the strawberry, its just not quite as bad, honestly wouldn't rate any of their flavours so far. However it was at 6mg that found a lot smoother to inhale for me.

I found most of their flavours tasted very similar, minus the peach. Wasn't impressed at all

Thanks, will give it a shot. One thing i do get confused by, these dual coils. when you take them apart there is only one coil i find?

I think scopes are the best tasting juices, but the choice is limited and they are really thick and claggy making your device clog up and shortening the life of a coil drastically. Woe betide any wicking problems also. They don't work very well at all with kanger or aspire standard coils but work beautifully in "roll your own" devices - particularly drippers.

I agree with everything that's said about Triphammer above. After a while they all taste the same...

My sweet spot at the moment is the Mystic Juices from coud9vaping. RY4Special is currently my all dayer, and generally I don't like tobacco flavours! This has a sweet toffee aftertaste that is addictive, but lemonade and After8 are also very fine juices. Intend to buy more as they wick well and taste great for what I have tried so far.

No there are two coils in there - small coils stacked on top of one another with a flavour wick of silica in between. Just replace them with a single 1.8-2mm microcoil 8-9 wraps from .3 kanthal and the coil is big enough to ensure the juice hole seals.

Thanks, will give it a shot. Using .32 wire i think atm 2mm.
