Just this morning when I press the power button on the phone to wake it I get a resuming message on the screen for 1/2 seconds ?!?!

Never done this before, any ideas what's causing it ??

I read that having either Cortana or Data Sense pinned on your homescreen can cause this.

I tried the new lock screen beta app from Microsoft this morning.

I uninstalled because I wasn't impressed and it seemed to upset the stantard lock screen.

I had to reinstall the app, reboot, uninstall again and reboot. All seems good now!

Cant complain to much its a beta after all. Maybe more of an alpha build!

I think it may have something to do with the heat. The light comes on and it charges for a certain time but then it stops and the light starts blinking. Sometime it starts charging again and stops and starts, which is annoying as the screen comes on each time waking my wife or I.

Most likely is that the phone and charging plate are slightly misaligned. It can cause the charging to cut out and present the issues you are seeing.

Maybe but I have tried every position I can and it happens every time! Can't wait until my free, larger one turns up so I can use that instead lol

that's interesting I've had that as well, I think its heat build up as if I take the case I use off it doesn't happen. when in direct contact it works fine

I've seen this on quite a few Samsung AMOLED devices I've owned, like dark spots on a dark screen. Had it on my Note and also my Galaxy Nexus.

I will check my 930 tonight but haven't noticed it so far.

Returning my Lumia 930 to o2 tomorrow. Love the phone but no 4G in Bristol. Stupidly I didn't check but still in cooling off period so should only cost me a few quid.

Will get one from EE I think as I get plenty of 4G on my works Lumia 1020.

Not from my week of using it! Can't see why they can sell a 4G contract if they can't provide it.

Off course o2 have 4g and of course they can sell it. It's upto you to check coverage in your area.

Are people still suffering with heat and battery issues with the 930 or have resets etc resolved them?

Considering one of these and just wanted to get a feel for how much is internet scare mongering
