US: Under the Dome season 2

I don't think even the cast know what is going on right now with the plot. The star of that last episode was the singing preacher bloke imo. Everyone else looked confused. I'm still smirking at the fact that Julia is boinking the bloke who killed her husband, and in the last episode he had the nerve to say "Be careful who we let into OUR house".

This new appearance "school teacher" is annoying and need a bullet, and save one for Tefal head too (the daughter from the Gay Rainbow family).

It is a shame this second season is so poor, Ill keep watching but i doubt it will get any better, Very disappointed the key characters traits in the book is not being followed now in the series, especially that of young James.

What a waste of a good premise, i wonder what they are going to change next, I bet they don't even have the same premise for the egg as the book.

I do wonder if i would enjoy this more if i had not read the book though.
 
Wow, this season is really poor. I'm only really watching it on the back of the concept that the ending of the series can't be as bad as King's book ending. That was dire.
There is just no arc to this. It's just meandering medodrama with completely random rubbish thrown into the mix in some poor "monster of the wek" format.
 
I love how people say "this season". It was bad in season 1 and is still bad in season 2, it's not as though it's got better or worse :p

Yet i'm still watching :o
 
I am clearly 'hate-watching' the show at present and have to say - Episode 4 wasn't that bad. Sure the acting was godawful as usual, and the school teacher who seems to know every scientific profession under the sun is beginning to clearly grate but the episode did clear up a lot of things.

Now if only someone could kill and free Big Jim from this dreadful show.

Edit: The badass cop bloke arrested people for defacing a bridge...
 
Its just lost its way big time. all these new characters just popping up i.e. school teacher, where was she the previous seasons ? Then the preacher bloke again where's he been ?

The child actors are just annoying and there's not a single character that you have an emotional attachment with, at this stage they could kill off the lot and I wouldn't care. When you compare this to say GOT when you loose a main character you do feel something.

Yea it really fails for me too in that regard.

There's no character I give a crap about, they could all die for all I care.

Does any character in the show have a single redeeming quality ?

Even the 100 manages to pull it off with nearly all kids....

Naww they'll drag it out for 6 seasons then screw us over by saying they all died the first day the dome went down and thieve all been in purgatory.

Just waiting for the polar bear to show up and a black mist monster now.
 
I just noticed that at the very start of the intro for last night's episode it says "2 weeks ago an invisible dome crashed down..." :eek:
