Can God make mistakes? How many 'likes' will it take for him to back down?

Yes, why?

Well, normally I expect the utterly ridiculous and stupid posts to come from religious posters. But you've taken it to a whole new level of ignorance. Which, in a way, is impressive.

And this is why:

whhaaaaaaaat

So Thor and Odin are the same as the Abrahimic god?

There are some hairy Norsemen that would like to disagree.

Are you having a laugh? How can hundreds of different gods have made the same universe hundreds of different times?? The religions are just different versions of the same story.

That's not your argument though is it? You're saying all the variety of gods in human cultures are the same god.

I mean, if what you meant is that they're all a fabrication or fiction then you should say that. Currently your post, which I even clarified first before showing my derision, is similar to saying Harry Potter and Gandalf are the same because they both cast magic. So they must be the same.

OK fair enough. I firmly believe that all Gods and religions are an entirely human construct. If you say that God does indeed exist, whichever religion you follow, you have the belief that your god was the one(s) who created the universe. Only one (or all) of them can have created the universe, therefore they must all be the same God(s).

If God created the universe then who created god? God doesn't make sense.

Awesome

Still fine.

Seems sensible.

Only one (or all) of them can have created the universe,

Yep, entirely logical.

therefore they must all be the same God(s).

Really? I mean, Harry Potter and Gandalf both fought wizards who wanted to rule the world. They're both human constructs. I am POSITIVE (so certain I'm capitalising that word!) that Harry and Gandalf aren't the same wizard.

I will admit I may be being slightly harsh with this, but the original post did amuse me and I'm waiting on my dinner :D

I don't understand. If I make a table, but you make the exact same table at the same time in the same place, then logically we must be the same person...whether that's physically possible or not. Whether or not you believe that I made the table or you made the table, either one of us or both of us made the table. Whichever one it is, that doesn't change depending on whether someone else believes I made the table or you did...despite my ineptitude with words, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Or we could both be making the same table... together?
