*** Nokia Lumia 930 ***

Lol so far loving the phone. Just learning how to do things with it. I remember reading about some Nokia/Microsoft camera apps worth downloading but cant seem to find them or remember their name

They should all be already installed, Nokia preload all their stuff, some updates out of the box via WiFi.

Nokia Camera Pro was the default launcher now on my phone.

There were a fair few on my not pre-installed. Things like Cinemagraph, and panorama for instance.

Considering one though my 920 still does the job for me, just wish o2 would hurry up and get 8.1 rolled out for the 920, dunno wtf is taking so long.

Mine just says Nokia Camera not pro. And I cant find it in the app store?

That would be it, think they dropped the Pro label off.

See below, I had these installed on my old phone so it updated my new phone, my bad, you will in fact have to go to teh store and download them, all free though!

Ive jsut realised sorry.

I if course singed into my previous Windows account and it auto downloads all y apps again as the phone is setting up.

This phone is lush, I have to say. Everytime I pick it up and use it I just feel happy. Still have my Note 2 until I am decided. The free bundle I got was White and the contract I got was better than previous and cheaper too.

Only thing I am not used to is navigation on this phone absoloutely crushes battery, 30 minutes will take 30% easily and that's with an offline map. Not sure what's going on with it but my Note 2 hardly took 10% over the same time and that was with gmaps so downloading the data too.

I had that 'problem' when I got the 920. You need to wait a few days when the battery is calibrated, it last a fair bit longer. Initially, I lost more battery than it being charged, after the initial period, it 'fixed' itself.

Also fully "off\ on" the phone over a few day, jsut once a day or so, can really help the battery sort itself.

It is a lovely phone to use although not sure about the orange, would have preferred green I think! One concern is that a lot of reviews seem to imply that as the 930 is basically a rehash of an 8 month old phone something better will be along before Christmas.

Something better probably will be along just before Christmas; we're due the 1030 and 1530, possibly the 830 and 1330 too. Does it matter? The 930 has launched quite cheap, with a great launch Bundle. Even weighed against the possibility of a true flagship in a few months, it's a great handset.

Theirs instructions about how to change the back.

And yes MS have said theirs at least one new flagship coming from them soon.

I've had my confirmation email about the bundle form Kondor. Does the voucher come with it or emailed separately?

What cases are people getting, if any?

Voucher comes in a boxed kit with pad and speaker, its on a separate card.

No case, I'm happier seeing the phone naked.

Wake and volume rocker are about the same on mine, slight rise on the power button, but the camera button is a lot higher, but it does mot sport a very nice two step button press for the focus, the button still feels very secure, in fact no wobble on any of them at all.

Wireless charging woes are over!

Turns out it was nothing to do with positioning, I had plugged the charging puc in to my previous phones main adapter. Plugged the Nokia one in last night and no issues all night! Whoop!
fantastic glad to hear it
