Which software features you would like to see on AMD GPUs

Meh, poll is too strict.

I think both are important, but not more important than other things. Such as reference cooling, a more stable hardware/software platform in general, FreeSync (On all models capable) etc

The problem is you have not given us the right things to vote on.:D

Two things I would like to see on an AMD card are:

PhysX.

/snip

I want this approximately 6.476E15x more than anything on the list but sadly I know it will never happen as AMD are about as likely to take up PhysX as XFX are to take up quality control.

The list however is quite realistic and is stuff we may one day get, so downsampling FTW :)

Don't have that in any of my games and ive got a hell of a lot. Which games are you having problems with?
Well they haven't completely eliminated it, i'm going by benchmarks i saw on review of 290x xfire. It had a little in a few games.

Unless they've improved frame pacing even more? I doubt it in that amount of time.

It's not poor quality at all

Using NvENC in OBS or MSI Afterburner looks quite bad compared to x264 (OBS) when there's a lot of motion. However, I find the low impact of the Nvidia encoder/capture is convenient for streaming through sites such as Twitch where one can't expect super high quality showings anyway.

Didn't you downplay downsampling originally LT?

I wish they'd fix State of Decay tbh (And the other games that have been broken under DX9 from the 14.6 branch)

I wanted both, but at the time I'd have settled for game recording. What do you know, shortly after this thread was created game recording became possible. Now it looks like downsampling might be a possibility. It's all good.

In my opinion, both Nvidia and AMD should have as close as possible to identical core facilities so that if you go between brands, you don't lose out too much other than the propitiatory stuff. Due to that, I selected "both".

ER wasn't Game recording available before? fraps etc.

Action was the first I believe to use amd VCE

Now it's used on dxtory and raptr. Raptr giving the best performance. Dxtory a little more hit but with great feature set.

Nope, Mirillis Action does not use it to the best of my knowledge.
