Added, im not great but im getting the grip of it. Trying to get a rank at the minute too but only 2 wins in so far, early doors though.
 
Had an awesome game late last night about 4am on cache vs a smfc and LEM premade
8/7 to us as Ts at half time... Then we won pistol lost to an eco then went 9\14 down.. We won an eco... Then our team played awesome and locked it down and won 16/14... Was such a good game no arguing or anything... Did a awesome 3v1 clutch with awp to ill try and upload :)
 
Clutch is winning the round as the last man alive for your team when the odds were against you, i.e. 4v1, 5v1.

Eco is being economical, and not buying any guns. The aim is to take a better gun off the opposition. The rationale is that even if you lose, the whole team should have enough to buy stronger weapons the following round.
 
So been practising my grenade throwing, trying to remember the certain spots for certain smoke locations, on dust II i like the one were you are CT and yu run to a long, stand between the basket and tire, aim at where the wires cross over head and it lands in double doors, really stops them advancing and forces them to either wait or go A short.
 
Had a Game last night in competitive on cache ... 1 round wonder was on my own against 5 killed them all and defused -_- .. Feels so sweet when you do that haha don't think There's a more satisfying shooter then this !
 
Had another comp match last night, in a team with 4 Germans, had a good laugh. We won, but we were up against some very good players!

I actually LOVE this game now, this is what I've been missing :(

The only thing I don't like is the option to buy keys and stuff. And am I right in thinking I have to pay to unlock the competition maps?
 
Having problems lately with 'new' players (generally unranked) dominating games, as in dropping 40 kills a game and just carrying the other team and laughing about how "EZ" it is for them. Had one in 4/5 matches last night. It's really demotivating.:(

You just make a new steam account, and play on that instead, so your a low rank/unranked, but in actual fact you are way higher. It's basically a way to show off beating on less experienced players.

Had a very similar game last night against 2 LEMS, a LE and rest were DMG, was 8-7 to them first half but we only drew 15-15 in the end

As long as one person in the team has access then anyone else joining them can play without owning the maps. Its only a couple of quid though.

Wouldn't say the breakout maps are worth it but the mission drops can be, as seen by JGStonedRaiders extremely lucky reward of an AWP Dragon Lore

On this mission you dont have to buy the pass to get to play the maps, you just get the little missions like 'Win a competitive game on Black Gold' or 'Get 40 Rifle kills in Casual' etc

It also increases your drops from 4 a week to 8 a week from what ive read. It easily pays for itself, so far ive made £21 with gun drops and box drops (I dont open the boxes)
 
Was thinking about buying a mouse pad due to the one i have being to small and always have to lift my mouse up to re adjust, any recommendations?

Been looking at the Razer Goliathus extended, looks pretty good, nice reviews also.
 
I miss having the custom buy thing in the bottom right like in CS:S. You used to be able to save 4 profiles with the set-up you wanted to use and press one button to purchase everything. :(

Wish they'd add that back.
