Aye, don't worry about it. I still smoke on occasion. Well, when I'm at work as I'm not allowed to take my ecigs there, so I still smoke. Granted, it's only about 60 days a year just now, but still.

Don't fret it. Keep at it, every time you take a vape, that's one less smoke, and 5 mins more on the end of your life (apparently).

Back from a week away! Just catching up.....

I'm really not getting any sort of clouds from my TOBH atty.

Was expecting big things but getting hardly anything.

Got x2 microcoils with x5 wraps with 30g kanthal, and only have x1 airhole each side uncovered because with 2 or all 3 I get a massive air inhale but no vape and end up coughing my guts up.

What am I doing wrong.
What resistance is it? Lunging it?

You could try giving it a good clean and dry burn, but I suspect after getting a month with it, it's probably a bit gone already.

I would get one of these : http://myepack.co.uk/aspire-nautilus-mini.html
And some replacement heads : http://myepack.co.uk/accessories/aspire-bvc-coil-head.html

By all accounts, these are reviewed as one of the VERY best clearomisers on the market. No point in wasting money unnecessarily. So just spend a little more and get the best.

This. Best clearo on the market by all accounts. The Naturevapes one is also good.

hi guys well my standard batt gave up and am still waiting for my mvp to come so had to pop into town and got a evod twist as a fill gap for a decent price this has voltage mod on the bottom.

i know a lot of people have explained how it works but i cant seem to see about dual coils

i am using a 2.0 ohm dual coil from kanger in my pro tank 3 mini .

i upped the settings each time until i got what i thought was decent vapour and flavour with a nice hit

its set at 4.4 volts but i am not sure how you work it out for dual coils if this is to much or not ?

i have looked at those charts but all seem to be based for single coils and i know the math is different for dual ones.

is a 2.0 ohm dual coil 2x 4.0 so do i read the chart as resistence as 4.0

cheers as simple explination as possible please lol

No. a 2 ohm coil is a 2 ohm coil. How the dual coils build it up is it's 2 x 4 ohm coils, run in parallel, so that essentially halves the resistance.

Just in case you can't really see that, it is :

1/Rtotal = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/Rn where R1, R2 etc. is the separate resistance of each coil, and n is the number of coils. So you just add it up.

So you read it as 2.0 Ohms resistance, even though it is actually 2 x 4 ohm coils. So you are vaping at around 9.6 watts, which is a nice spot to be at. I usually vape around 10-15 watts, depending on the build, if I'm on a regulated device. When I'm on a mech, it really depends on the build, and how much voltage the battery can supply, so my 1 ohm build in my Kayfuns will start at 17 watts, and drop to around 13 watts before I change the battery out. But some of my drippers will start at around 117 watts, and I change the batteries out when they get to 72 watts.

Well, yes, you can refer to that chart if you want. But it's really talking about how the juice tastes, which is subjective. You may prefer it warmer. The only thing you really need to worry about is battery safety. i.e. Not pushing the battery too hard.

But with mods that aren't mechanical (i.e. just a piece of tubing), the circuitry within the device should be the limiting factor anyway. For example, your battery shouldn't fire enough volts, or at a low enough resistance, to risk any damage to the battery.

Beyond that, it's really just a case of making adjustments until you find a vape you like. Some may prefer vaping at 3.7 volts, and others may prefer it at 5 volts.

Basically, ignore the numbers, and trust your taste buds. They will keep you right. The only thing I did find when I first moved from single to dual coils, is that at too low voltage, I was getting flooding and gurgling. Just upped the voltage and that disappeared. And tasted better.

When you move onto mechs, then you have to use numbers to work out how many amps you are drawing on the battery with your coil at 4.2 volts. But that's in the future.

well i doubt i will ever rebuild coils

got my mvp coming very soon and i will just whack my mini protank on and start at 8watts and slowly increase until i find suitable for me the mvp tops out at 11 i think and has saftey features so i should not blow myself to smitherenes lol

Unexpected vape mail from Fasttech this morning, brass nemesis and patriot RDA clones (have an SS patriot clone for my chi you too). Nearly choked me to death, time to lower the nic/PG content I think but the flavour is immense!

Ordered last Wednesday and it arrived first thing this morning, not bad for Singapore Post.

Got myself an MVP 2.0 and a couple of Nautilus minis today. It's a nice step up, very impressed with the Nautilus in particular.

Snap :)

I was looking to upgrade from my Aspire ETS and VV ego batteries. After reading the last 50 odd pages of this thread I decided on getting the MVP v2, a couple of Vision Spinner 2's and a couple of Nautilus Mini's.

I'm using the MVP and one mini with Raspberry Ice from Vaporized (trying to support my local shop) during the day and the spinners (and other mini) with my usual tobacco flavour for when I'm having a drink.

Really impressed with the whole purchase - especially the Nautilus Mini's which are just great. I'm using 1.8 ohm atty's with the raspberry at 8w on the MPV and 1.6 ohm with the tobacco at 4.2v on the Spinner's.

As others have said loads in this thread, the MPV v2 is a great item. Thanks for the recommendations.

I was going to get a Pioneer4You IPV2 50W BOX MOD on monday. But now I've seen videos of the problems I think I will leave it.

Shame really as I really wanted one.
