I got some of The King yesterday and I'm not really feeling it tbh. The nutty flavour kind of overwhelms everything else to me.
I may be wrong here, but wasnt the Rose v2 being sold for £90 at vapefest?

Nope, he was selling it £10 less than he paid with the Stumpy kit
Also, he sold it within 12 hours of it being listed. He's bought parts to make an SX350 box-mod. He is also more into drippers right now so saw no point leaving £130 worth of atty on the side doing nothing

So I built my first dual coil today on my vamo v5, some limitations due to the 1.2ohm limit, so I used a thinner gauge wire and each coil has 10 wraps and Im reading 2ohm resistance.
This is off a non 30A battery, just a normal torchys 3100mah 3.7V battery and Im upto my limit on the vamo (15W)
The coil heats up fine, but Im not getting anywhere near the vapour I see on the you tube vids. I am getting vapour, but about a tenth of what I have seen other people achieve. I made a 5mg mix up using pure VG rather than my normal PG/VG mix.
Is my lack of vapour down to the vamo (I have a mech mod turning up tomorrow)
Does the non 30A battery play a part? (I have 4, but saving them for the mech mod)
Im also finding the vape quite dry and /scratchy/raspy, yet the same mix is a lot smoother/nicer in my vamo, just lacking throat hit due to the 5mg. The cotton wool is nice ands wet, otherwise Im not sure how to improve the final vape?
Im just trying to practice, as I expect things to change once I use a mech mod, 30A battery and 28 gauge wire.
Im going to try the same coil set up in my Kaifun rather than my Omega RDA to see if a tank improves things..

Won't be your battery. The Vamo has something like a 5A limit anyway, so it will never fire outwith the limits of the battery.
I find dual coils better on a mech, or a more advanced chip like the DNA where you can go down to 1 ohm and below. My fogger has a 1.1 ohm dual coil build in it, and it is great. I generally have my tanks around the 1 ohm mark, and my drippers anywhere sub ohm, but run them on mechs.
It could just be you have too much metal in there. 20 wraps of wire is a lot. Take off some turns, and try to get down to around 1.3 ohms, and rewick it. That may well help.

Ok so my iTaste vv V3 seems to have died on me. Showing non no matter what atty I put on top. Luckily I have my Kayfun Lite Plus on a Nemsis clone to keep me going.
Would like another VV device for other bits and pieces. Tempted to go for an IPV 20 device but any suggestions on what to go for?
edit: now over a month since kicking the dirty cigs and don't really miss them. Just took a delivery of scopes apple tart, some normal 50-50 and some vg heavy to try. Just locked away for a bit to mature

It may be worth waiting a little while for the SVD 2.0, as that will have a genuine DNA chip on-board, that should fire lower ohm coils. Unfortunately, it wont be as portable as the iTaste vv V3.
You could always get another one if you like the form factor of the VV, or go for an MVP, as is often suggested here (almost always by me too, lol). But it REALLY is an excellent device.
I would be tempted to stay away from DNA clones, as they do all seem to have issues. You could always build your own though. You can get a Hana clone case from FT pretty cheap, and put a genuine DNA board in there.

I've been vaping exactly the same juice for around a year until yesterday (50/50 mix of organic coffee from houseofliquid and ry4 from cloud 9) and believe I've found a replacement.
Puros dark (again from houseofliquid) is that juice and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who likes the idea of a tobacco and coffee blend. Great throat hit, loads of vapour and great flavour.

First time I've experienced being given stick for vaping last night, I didn't even realise that doing so was a thing until now. "joker smoker", "fad fags" and "scene following gimmicks" were quoted, which I don't even quite understand the hostility for, pathetic really.. None of it warranted a response from me, I just laughed and chugged on my lemon drops in blissful ignorance. Enjoy smelly clothes and lung cancer then.
