*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Mmm. Interesting. I wonder how much of a positive impact they have practically...

Ive experience with them, and there great for FPS. Drop shotting/Jump shotting is a breeze, this gen these will be as common as headsets i guarantee you.

Also £85 for SharQ £100+ for Scuf, that said if you send in your own controller to be modified i could have buttons and paddles done and shipped for £35.

When are we seeing Golf Club on PS4? Heard late August, but is there a definite date? Will get that and Metro Redux as I've never touched a Metro game before.

Which one do you find better?

Sorry i meant i have had experience with a Scuf (straight paddles and trigger stops), Never used a SharQ but looking at there twitter they have many happy customers. I am interested in how the curved fins feel in the hand as apposed to the straight paddles Scuf use. Apart from the paddle design Scuf however are just the same except a more known brand and the paddles etc are great for FPS. I really enjoyed mine, for now though i think i'll send my controller to SharQ for £35. Saves me £50, no brainier and if you ordered from Scuf your talking over £100.

M:LL is a very good game on PC. I have ordered the redux through steam for 17 notes

Would usually get for PC but keeping that for my work and some indie games, etc. Grown to my PS4 as I can sell my game once I've done with it, with the exception of FIFA and COD which I usually keep. Tends to be singleplayer games I move on.

I guess £35 isn't so bad if you do it that way. So the way I understand it, you can choose which buttons they replicate? Once done can you change on the fly or is that it?

So these Sharq controllers, the fins are the triggers to shoot? Wow, didn't know those existed.. £85 mind?

Expensive but any good for racing games lol

You can map them to shoot if that's what you like personally I like mine to activate X and O for jumping and dropping in FPS. These controllers have been around over a year (Scuf) and the "professionals" have been using them in competitions for a while.

According to their website you can only customise to X, O, Square, Triangle and the thumbstick buttons and it seems like once chosen that's it. I suppose they do some rewiring inside the controller

The Trigger Stops would be the only thing of interest to me, as I hate the long travel triggers on the DS4.

Isn't using a modded controller like cheating? I mean nobody else has the same advantage of being able to drop shot instantly, etc.

Also I have had to send back 3 controllers to sony so far, would be more if I wasn't so busy that I've been waiting months before going to send them back and letting them get unusable before posting them.

If they fixed the thumbstick issue then I would maybe look into modding mine, but tbh there is no way as things currently stand as what would sony do if you sent them back a modded controller with dodgy thumbs?

Hmm if you can't map them as required I wouldn't be interested as different game types require different maps. They would make nice paddles for shifting gears in a racing game but who's to say they would work for a shooting game with my preferred layout.
