*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

PS4s will be £329 at Asda from Friday until the 28th of August, and the Infamous and The Last of Us bundles will be £349. You may even find that the prices are effective from Thursday due to the way price changes are done, but officially it's Friday.

My sticks should arrive Friday :D predicted delivery of PS4 though, Weds-Fri next week :(

ooh long week ahead for you then... I just ordered those metal sticks, they look cool, hope they aren't uncomfortable.

Guide on youtube to swap them out looks simple, its just four screws, lift the back off, cable to lift off then a board to lift out with one screw and access to the thumbsticks, they just pull off and push back on again.

Hope I don't destroy a DS4 pad.. : - (

Just got Diablo III for £35 from the US PSN store... balls am I paying £15 more for it with the scummy EU pricing!

PS: Are we allowed to talk about that or is it a no-go? If so let me know and ill delete.

Diablo 3 is a horrendous price, it's a three plus year old game now... I'm amazed there was so much up roar over the 60 fps 1080 bebate.. it's an old game, I'd expect newer hardware to run it smoothly at !080 p ... anyhow not my type of game but it must be bloody popular to command that sort of price...

I think you mean £25 more :(

It's around £47-£50 if you buy a physical copy... only on the UK PSN store is it £60.

It's such a blatant, unashamed rip-off that it really makes me angry how they treat the UK/EU market.

However, price rant aside, I never playe dit on PC and it has local co-op as well as far more RSI-friendly gamepad controls.

In fact, it's amazing how much more comfortable gaming on a console is than a PC... I get little strain.

Richdog I agree. I love pc gaming but I don't know what I do but I just find sofa and game pad leaves me with little strain yet if I play a keyboard mouse game, after an hour I'm done.. ps4 I play got hours, and my vita...

defo more comfortable gaming on the sofa...

Yeah I was talking about the PSN price. It's no surprise that almost everybody I know does want to go digital with those ridiculous prices. I got it on rental though so I'm happy. It feels so smooth compared to the 360 version.

Yup absolutely, and sadly when I was younger I had a massive onset of RSI (carpal tunnel and tendonitis) due to gaming like a loon till all hours in awkward positions, and now even almost ten years later I am still sensitive to it. PC gaming definitely takes a much, much quicker toll than console gaming.
