Bought some twix today and mars 4 for a £1 I wish I hadn't of bothered

,they were no longer than my little finger

when I was a kid they were huge,now it seems they have cut one single twix stick in half and made two and charged more for the privelige :eek:

what's going on

It seems to be the 4 packs - singles are the normal size

Noticed twirls in multi packs are like this

This. Buy a proper one, they're still a decent size.

There is a reason why a single one is about 65p and the multipack ones work out at 25p each.

Nah, the OP's got a point. Take Cadbury's crème eggs now for example and compare with 25 years ago. Definitely shrunken in size, and yet about 3x the price.

3 packs are normal size, the 4 packs are where the con you!
Tesco 4 packs are normally £1.69 for normal size chocolates, so check for that when they're on offer.

It is true (forgetting multipacks) the choc bars have nearly all if not all shrunk.

Same with packets of crisps, take walkers as an example. More air than crisps in the bag now. Multipacks are even worse.

Yeah I noticed maybe a year 1 or 2 back that the Walkers packets now read 32.5g instead of the 34.5g that we're used to. Sneaky basts!
