Sonys status was also "up" for hours. It's not that the server is down, It's the Ddos attack preventing people from signing in.
Go on twitter and type in "xbox down" there are 100s of messages per minute coming through about it. It's the same idiots that took psn offline

Well that just proves how stupid these people are, being caught for hacking is one thing now they'll be charged with terrorism if caught.. I really hope they get caught!
