Crop Circles

I mean this image below is a crop circle that was made in the dark overnight, around 12 hours apparently man made with a garden roller...HOW. So detailed and intricate..man isn't good enough to do this in the daytime let alone at night!

It's entirely irrational to believe they are produced by non-Earth beings when the circles have been reproduced many times by non-hoaxers.

All it takes is some computer software to work out a set of steps to form that pattern, combined with an accurate measurement device to measure angles and distances.

It reminds me of those white tortoise devices in school in the late 80's used to demonstrate the power of logic. What were those things called again?

Have you seen our modern hospitals, the internal combustion engine, skyscrapers, hydro-dams and the international space station? Yet you think we are trumped by a maze field?

All you need to make some impressive crop circles is a bit of rope, a plank of wood and some simple mathematics.

My Win 7 Theme are pictures of Egypt changing every 30 seconds and yesterday we had a woman visitor who looked at my screen at the Giza pyramids and said 'I think Aliens did that'.
I then asked if she had ever stood by them which she hadn't so I invited her to look very closely at the rocks that make up the Pyramids and after a while she said 'Yeah, Aliens weren't very good at making the rocks even, it looks like it's been thrown together'.
1 v 0 to me.
 
There is nothing mysterious or otherworldly about them.

A small group of people who know what they are doing and a few basic tools combined with good planning and a reasonable knowledge of Maths is all you need to make one.

As for doing it in the dark, I would guess that most appear after nights with a bright (full) moon.

But the ones man made look carp....lol. They are very basic and irregular.

An alternative to man-made is not neccesarily un-natural

How can you tell which are not man made? What other plausible explanations are there for their creation and what actual evidence is there that some are not man made?

I think LOGO was the computer program with the virtual turtle? We had a phyiscal turtle that you could program the same way called Roamer :)

The one I'm thinking of was both a program and a robot. You bashed in coordinates and go-wait-stop type commands... Though my memory of it is more than a little vague. Have a look at the Talking Turtle series of YouTube video - those haircuts :eek:
