Crop Circles

It's a drawing from a photograph to look like a photograph. Pointless. It's taking someone elses art and copying it perfectly.

Im not sure if he takes the photos himself. but i imagine its hard to get somone to stand in the exact same position for months.

well your premise is flawed... you're not going to get a pattern like that by trampling - you might be forgetting that human beings have hands and can use them to manipulate things.... weaving some crops into a complex pattern is some hoaxers trying to take things to the next level. These groups compete with each other to produce ever more impressive designs.

Yes a small % may not be man made - i.e. simple circles formed by weather etc...

But anything which has actually been designed, laid out... you'd have to be a bit damaged in the head to start dismissing the fact that there are groups of people who go out at night and create these.

My premise isn't flawed, but i have assumed that many of you knew more of the subject than you have let on. I do not dispute that humans cannot re-create these circles, of course they can it's art at the end of the day.

My argument is that, are all crop circles created by teams of people stamping wheat down in the dead of night? I refuse to believe that is true and you may too once you educate yourself further on the subject.

I apologise for my assumption and regret that i need to give you more information on the topic.

Look at this picture below:

The top picture depicts an arch in the node of the wheat stem. This cannot be created by stamping on the wheat, nor can it be re-created by simply bending with your hands. The wheat will bounce back. The wheat itself has actually fused into an arch like position. This quality is evident in the majority of the most sophiticated crop circles.

This is just one quandry which creates the implication that how can they be stamped down by foot? Crop circles man-made are totally different and you only have to make a visual comparison to see if it's been stamped down or not. Scientifically the only way wheat can create that arch imperssion is if heat/energy has been used to fuse the plant in that posistion.

Yet there is no evidence of any other ways for these things to be created other than the known teams of people who actively create them.

And again you're pointing at a nice pattern then bringing up the same straw man argument that it can't have been created by 'stamping'...

There is very little reason to be skeptical of the idea that humans can create patterns in crops...

And a team of mit students took on the challenge and reproduced basically everything found. Like bits of spherical metal particles and popped joints.

What known teams? Where is the evidence that they are bending each individual strand of wheat into an arc? Show me! If you used logic in your attempt to argue, where does it make sense for invidividuals to create that shape on the wheat? It does not affect the pattern they are creating, it's not a practice that has to be carried out to make the shape, there is no logical value to a possible time consuming practice. Plus it has never been re-created. You are talking complete nonsense.

If you discussed without an agenda that there definitely isn't anything to this subject, you might find that what you argue might have substance. At this stage your just spouting non-sensical statements, that lack any critical thinking.

I think it's you that seems to have an agenda here. There are teams of people who create these crop circles... Your argument seems to be that because you've seen something more elaborate than trampled crops then it can't be humans and must be a much less plausible alternative which you have no evidence for of 'nature'.. so far you've put forth it's possibly some sort of energy and have mentioned that ********** have patterns... basically you've spouted a bit of nonsense and have no plausible alternative... as for lacking critical thinking - the idea that because something is elaborate then teams if people who are deliberately trying to construct elaborate patterns can't have done it but it is probably some unspecified natural process... 'energy' 'patterns in nature' '**********' blah blah blah.... doesn't seem too logical.

Do you have an image of those arched nodes actually in a crop circle, rather than a nice staged photo from a pro-aliens publication? Again, there must be loads if 70% of crop circles have them...

Reading the Wikipedia page on Crop Circles is quite funny. Scientific consensus is nearly all are man made, with the exception of a few irregular ones formed by weather or similar, and those that dispute it are the kind of people who have become successful publishing books on the subject, or charge 'up to £2000 per person' for guided tours of crop circles.

Says all you need to know really... The only real reason to persist with the 'not created by Humans' myth is that is profitable.

Oh my word I just watched the first one of his new series called In Search Of Aliens - Atlantis.
He visited 4 different places around the Med talking to local experts of why they thought Atlantis was there and then ended the programme by saying that he thought Atlantis was a spaceship.
I wanted to kill him.
