Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Nice one Sledgehammer, they have basically turned the Orbital VSAT from Black Ops II into a support streak, yes you understand correctly, with the modules for the standard UAV it's possible to turn it into the VSAT and have it as a support streak (kills keep counting towards it when you die) so every Tom, Dick & Harry can get it.

Wasn't VSAT (along with the Stealth Bomber) a support streak in MW3 too, which was universally hated on here. I think the problem is a lot of us on here are COD Vets so dislike all this BS but I assume that the official COD forums are full of 12 year olds who are asking and want all this BS. I have to assume that as I have never once wanted or felt the need to visit the official COD forums.

Think yes?! We all know it IS. I feel being the noob I am I should be happy about all these things but I am not. Maybe I am just the odd one out being happy to admit that I am not that good at a game.

Yeah sadly the developers only listen to the kids. Why can't they route yearly? One for the skilled players and one for the crap kids like Greboth. I don't mind a few noob friendly streaks or perks but they are going all out to give them as much help as possible. How long until deaf man's nuclear hand is back?!
 
I don't think the developers listen to the forums.

Its just full of children arguing all the time. Its impossible to get any kind of coherent response out of them. I can only assume they have their own focus groups they listen to, primarily made up of 12 year olds.

Says he is who is getting the noob friendliest COD ever to the guy who isn't planning on getting it :p

I like the idea of support killstreaks, not simply because they are easy to get KS but they suit objective game modes better IMO. They shouldn't be lethal though and definately shouldn't be OP, VSAT it high up in the normal kill streaks for a godo reason.

I'll be playing classic mode and you already told me you will more than likely end up getting :p

Vsat on the support class won't be too bad if you can shoot it down like you could on mw3.
 
I think in reality this game should have a larger skill gap than previous games because of the new game mechanics. But they they counter it by implementing annoying noob friendly perks and attachments to enhance there play. Its annoying, they know its annoying and they know how much people hated the target finder, stealth bomber (in support streaks), grenade launchers, danger close etc. Yet they implement it again and even more, seeking "bouncing betty" type explosives, and the ability to see through walls with attachments or grenades is plain stupid. Theres many things im looking forward to and for the most part it looks fun. But when you go online with 12 year olds who just want to troll you, there's far too much ammunition for them to adventure with.

That is only because I don't want to be on my own playing BF or Destiny while everyone else is on COD.

I had forgotten you could shoot it down, if you can then looks like I might have to go back to having a launcher as secondary on every class.

Sniper and Launcer, what a class! Living the dream baby, living the dream :D

Half the fun in Blops was hearing you ***** and moan when you saw me with a sniper, just a shame I didn't work on sniper camo's earlier as I can only imagine your rage at me using a diamond one. If I get AW hopefully they have similar camo's :D

Though I will predict I will stick to AR's and SMG's like all other COD's.

Forza alone makes me want an XB1 but ordered a PS4 as most of my gaming is online multiplats so makes sense to go with the more popular console. Especially as with the exception of you, everyone I know or game with from here seems to have a PS4 :p

Watched one of Drift0r's video's earlier and he mentions that the engine in this game ISN'T actually new. It's the same one they've been using forever, but just stripped down and massively overhauled. And he says that all the old problems will still be there. So it'll be insta-death central in Core which means I'll most likely be playing HC all the time. Again. *sigh*
 
Indeed, most who've posted here will write how rubbish it is/will be then buy it anyway and inform everyone, again, how rubbish it is :p
