import duty from korea

Got my X-star over a year ago and got a bill from DHL for £15 most of which was a handling charge. I ignored it.
The monitor hasn't had a problem since new and used everyday.

I was hesitant but don't regret the purchase at all.

1440p is outstanding and due to a serious lack of fun fps the slight ghosting isn't an issue in the games I play.

If it wasn't for gsync then I probably wouldn't swap for a while, but the price paid for what I've got just can't be beaten really

i received my YAMAKASI QH2711 Black Label korean monitor, 2 weeks ago from dream seller.he said he would mark shipping at $100 and monitor at $250 to avoid high duty charges ,well i just received a bill from fedex for £60 for tax duty. i expected around £30.will they chase me if i dont pay.

That's customs charge is about right. I just paid £34 for a £98 order from Japan.

If you don't pay the Customs Charge, then the shipping company/customs will keep the product and after 30+ days they will ship it back to wherever it arrived from.

Pay the VAT & Duty but tell them to do one for their handling fee, you're not obliged to pay it.

Where or how do you know you not obliged to pay for their "handing" fee?

Think I paid about £30 for my Qnix last year. Took about three months for the bill to show up though!

Think £60 is a bit high, but overall it'll still be cheaper than buying locally.
