UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [16/17/18 September 2014]

Now we've got all these games coming thick and fast hopefully we'll get to see people like Luis, Salah and Zouma get a game :)

Ah, Chelsea fans and their plastic flags!

I like Zouma, hope he gets a chance at the first team.

Moses is so cute :3 x

My beloved Sheffield Wednesday. As people know, I also have Manchester United/Rotherham/Doncaster Rovers and you could argue, my true love would be Denaby United F.C. of whom I was a member of the board (iirc) and my Grandad ran the club for a number of years before in 2002 when the club folded.

Although, with the exception of Doncaster Rovers (who would not know good football anywhere! :D) I mainly enjoy watching 'good' football, and will happily watch any match at about any level.

I always give my opinion, unlike other members whom either sit on the fence or constantly question and harass other members, and I will praise any club for good football or conduct, and be critical if not.

It's not just me that Moses is obsessed with, Frank too, and Manchester United in general.

Well, it took one game post transfer window for Arsenal to get into a defensive crisis... completely surprising that is, going into a season with 6 defenders. Debuchy looking like 2 months out at least, others suggesting 3 months. Monreal has a back issue, but Gibbs is back and Chambers apparently missed training for some reason. We have Bellarin as a back up right back and sounds like Chambers might be available anyway but means we're already at the point where we can't really rotate players and we have no room for more injuries.

It seems like everyone could see this apart from Wenger :(

Between not strengthening the defence or playing Ozil on the left wing constantly, I don't know which decision is annoying me most.
He already broke Arshavin by doing the same thing to him, now it's happening all over again with Ozil

Tbf Arsenal's two young lads, Hayden and Bellerin are pretty promising by all accounts and sound ready to get some games. Hard to strike a balance between bringing through youth vs. signing proven players. Imagine Flamini can probably still put in a shift at either left or right back although he might start complaining again :p

Flamini and Arteta aren't good enough for a side of Arsenal's status, I like them, but they're not good enough.

Arsenal produce good young players, just need the players to integrate in to the first team.

Rotherham? Oh dear. :( That's even worse than Wednesday!

I love Wednesday and support them, I watch them week in and week out (for some reason that escaped me years ago) however I follow loads of clubs, not to mention all the foreign clubs I follow too! :), named a few, the main ones I look out for locally.

I do not dislike any clubs, bar Sheffield United .

Rotherham are a running joke (literally :D) with a few friends.

Arteta hasn't been good enough for a couple of years after a fairly decent but certainly not outstanding first season. Flamini is generally speaking good but is still prone to rushing into tackles when holding up an attack would be better for the team, he hasn't started over half a season of games since 07/08. He hasn't ever started 30 league games a season. Since he moved to Arsenal in 04/05 he's never been a certain starter but a bit part player.

We need a genuinely brilliant defensive mid, someone who you would expect to start 30+ games a year most seasons and let the team be used to and ready to play with him.

Wenger's an idiot, we gave Rosicky a new contract end of last season with Campbell coming back, Walcott to come back from injury then he bought Sanchez and Welbeck. The wide players making it hard or impossible for Rosicky to get any game time considering the players we have. Campbell isn't getting a chance, Cazorla was dropped, Podolski has had a couple of minutes and deserves game time and Giroud and Walcott will just make the problems worse when they come back from their injuries.

We bought two and lost three defenders....... but found the money to give Rosicky a new contract, truly brilliant, thankfully Diaby is still around so we can waste money on him as well as Rosicky, and Campbell and Podolski who Wenger looks set to almost completely ignore this year... we've got no defenders but more central and wide attackers than any other team in the world...... and we still find a way to play Ozil and/or Cazorla out of position in every game so far this year.

That is before you factor in Rosicky offering a full on 2 goals and 1 assist in 17 starts and 10 sub appearances, he's been useless since his unfortunate injuries. But when his wage could be going on defensive cover, let alone Diaby's, it boggles the mind.

Arteta is a good player, or at least was, however in his position (and role) Arsenal just have superior, younger players. Similarly with Rosicky, he is/was a good player however Arsenal have superior and younger players that play his position/role. Arsenal could still have gotten at least some money for both of these players and made more wages available. So I agree on that with you drunkenmaster.

I like Flamini, however, as with the aforementioned players feel he is not of sufficient quality in his position (role), however Arsenal do not have a good enough replacement; a lack of a quality holding midfielder. The first name that springs to mind would be Schneiderlin, as he has played in England for a number of years and plays the position (role) that might suit Arsenal as a good replacement for Flamini/Arteta.

Diaby still being at Arsenal is tragic and hilarious in equal measure, he is a good player, no doubting that, however he is unable to remain fit enough to play even a fraction of a season.

As with Manchester United, although they have gone some way to fix the issue, Arsenal have far too much dead wood in the first team and squad.

Arsenal failed, once again, to address the issues within the squad and team, Debuchy is now rules out for a length of time too, adding to even more defensive worries.
