Fifa 15 - Demo out today - New ignite graphics engine!

Does anyone play this on manual setting (passing, crossing, shooting etc.) It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do you will never go back to the ping pong passing of assisted.

When I see people complaining about the gameply in Fifa most of their complaints are resolved by not sticking to the default assisted settings.

I normally play Fifa on assisted, but have played a few games with everything on manual, and yes, i can say it has made the game so much better!

It has helped with scoring too, so much easier to score goals on manual.

For some reason, i lag when playing it.
I have intel pentium g3258 k proccesor at stock
sapphire hd 7950 oc edition at stock
i played fifa 14 on ultra and use to get crazy fps
also played far cry 3 on ultra and good fps.
Is it cause it is a demo? or is there something else wrong?

Plays the same as every Fifa game I have played in the last 8 years. God knows what they do all year to warrant a new £30 game. Keepers are also stupidly good.

Football games have become so "meh" over the last few years. They have all just run out of ideas and churn out exactly the same game every year : /

I get the occasional stutter, too. I assume it's a problem with the demo as my rig should be able to handle FIFA.

I'm not quite sure what to think of it at the moment. It looks good, but it feels a bit awkward somehow compared to 14 and shooting doesn't seem as satisfying. I'll probably end up buying it: I know it's £30 for game similar to last year's, but it's new enough to reignite my interest and considering the hundreds of hours of entertainment I'll get out of it £30 is a bargain.

I missed FIFA14, but I tried the demo and was pleasantly surprised about the changes.

Feels a different and more realistic game than the previous years. I will be picking it up.

A little tip for you - on manual the Through Ball button can be used in all directions. It applies less speed and power than the normal pass button though so I tend to use it for short or softer passes all over the pitch as it's easier to control. I use normal pass when I want to play it into a player with a bit more speed\power.

Pretty much spot on, people get excited over mud on shirts and think its a new game, when really its not.

Also I used to play manual and semi on FIFA, doesn't make any difference as the game mechanics are still the same so the experience is still the same, infact it is often more frustrating because of how rubbish the AI were. The thought of ever playing that FIFA gives me shivers.

It depends on your approach to the game - I love playing manual because you have to think about every pass and it just seems more fluid and realistic. Obviously playing against another human opponent on manual is where it shines.

Fifa's not for eveyone. I actually stopped playing it for a couple of years and then you do notice the difference that all the minor changes add up to. I like this demo and I'm also actually quite impressed with some of the runs the AI players are making.

I haven't bought a FIFA game for 2 seasons (mostly because I end up wasting far too much time on them), but I've pre-ordered this one after playing this demo yesterday. Looking forward to getting back into it.

Gonna be the first time I've bought Fifa on PC, glad this is going to be a near enough exact copy as the console version :)

Anyone know of a cheap place to pre-order? Best price I've found so far is over at Kinguin for £32.88.

Has anyone been able to get this to work in 21:9 yet? im really liking it on the ps4 but id rather play the pc version but cant get rid of the black bars at the side even when changing the aspect ratio in the config file.

I am. Add me - NEMTIZZ
