I'd use a calculator to find out first, there's lots of DH spreadsheets around you can use to see if it would be. Using a gift on it would be too costly for a guess.

I used it anyway and managed to get very high crits (max at 30M avg around 15/16M). With balefire (old one so no fire dmg) I managed max crit at 16M avg around 5/6M. So definitely an upgrade. It helped me complete grift lvl 35 with 3 mins 45secs left so i was happy enough. Not a waste, hope I can get more rama gift stone.

Glad it worked out :)

Just take into account other things though, like faster resource regeneration with a faster weapon and the majority of DoT's scaling with attack speed (I believe the only exception for the DoT rule is for Witch Doctors).

I use the diabloprogress inbuilt calculator in the profile. Is there better ones?
Reddit sub's for classes are a good place for information, they all have stickies with stuff like spreadsheets and guides.

Greetings!

We've recently been informed that a number of usernames and passwords associated with popular email services have been released publicly.

Out of an abundance of caution, we've cross-referenced the public list with our database and identified those Battle.net accounts that use an email address on the list - one of which was the email address at which you're receiving this email. Therefore, to help protect your Battle.net account, we've reset your account password.

Not sure if genuine or not, game into my main inbox on gmail, noy spam folder or anything

I still wouldnt click any links or reply directly to that email even if it was genuine. My first impression is that it most likely phishing where it is trying to trick you into giving up your password via their link or form.

If it is real then i would change the password independantly on Battlenet rather from any link or redirect provided within the message.

There was a gmail account leak so it might make sense for Blizz to do this and just cover their userbase, although this does seem an odd way of doing that. Just never click links in emails like this or reply to them. Navigate to battle.net manually yourself in your browser and confirm your accounts status.

It would be worth you posting back in here to say if Blizz really did reset your password and it was all genuine for other people who might get this message. I am a bit skeptical, if anything I reckon they would recommend you login yourself and change it, I don't think they would just reset it for you regardless as how are they going to communicate what they have reset it to? They will never send you a password in an email so please let us know the full story and what you have done.

My gmail account was listed on the leak document twice! But it is old data and I changed my password recently so think it was OK. Regardless, I enabled 2factor auth on my gmail now and would recommend others do it also as it's really no great hassle and just covers your ass.

Finally spent some time farming for a Hellfire ammy last night, after about 3 hours I got all the pieces and got probably the worst roll ever...wrong +element damage, rubbish dex roll, no CHD/CC and "Thrill of the Hunt" passive. Not doing that again...

Gear wise, I'm currently running a hybrid Mara/Blackthorns whilst I wait for my T&T to drop (dropped every shard I've earned for the last 2/3 months and still nothing) and it's working quite well. I wanted a quick way of getting some +elite damage so dropped Maras pant and my rubbish Harringtons for Blackthornes belt and pants, the extra elite damage is pretty nice and I've even got a half decent neck that I put on for elites so with the RoRG I get the immunity to the floor effects.

I've changed my skills around recently too; I wanted more damage so went Calamity/Bombadiers (had a 2nd Cal drop last night with a natural socket, re-rolled the hatred regen for +10% damage on the first roll :D), swapped some of my fire skills for ice and started using Cull the Weak again. Definately killing things quicker now, I'm not hitting quite as hard as I did with the Ravens Wing/Chanens but am hitting much much faster so I think its an improvement overall.

I haven't really been grifting all that much, just to level my gems but I actually feel like I'm starting to make a little progress again now for the first time since I got my Maras set.

Keep on trucking with the Hellfire Amulet. If you get a good one you're really in the business. I got an OK one last night (+dmg, int, CC and AR - this is after a re-roll). It has creeping death on it though which is the best bit because it allows me to get Gruesome Feast as well. So a nice amulet for Grifts with a plethora of health globes but I use my normal cold dmg, int, CC and CHD for everything else.

I'll leave it a bit, the random chance for the wardens to spawn who in turn have a random chance to drop a key just wound me up in the end (even on T6 I had to do multiple runs on each to get enough keys). Still, it made a nice change from farming Act 1 bounties :D. Speaking of which, I finally got a RoRG with AS/CHD/CC; 6%AS, 4.5%CC and 29% CHD, min rolls FTW!

That a good passive u got there, Ideal for Jade Setup if you use it. How long did it roughly take you to get all keys etc to craft a ammy and is difficulty a contribute factor?

The wardens always spawn but the key drop is random. At least the component is guaranteed now.

I think I went from 3 keys in my inventory to a full ammy in about 2/3 hours on T6. The longest part is finding the Key Wardens in the bigger maps (mainly the Oasis one), I only usually stopped to kill elites and used Danetta's to speed up moving around the map. The ubers weren't all that hard, the UberDiablo killed me a couple of times through carelessness on my part but the others were a breeze.

I'm sure I did a couple of Stonefort runs where the warden didn't show up, I obviously wasn't looking hard enough!

Wasn't too bad as me and a friend were doing it together. Probably took best part of 90 mins to get a set of keys (4 of each) but then my mate had the keys too so we got 2 crafts. We did it in T6 - I think the key chance is higher on T6 but it isn't guaranteed. As above, the component from the actual portal boss is though thankfully.

I think I can do two man T6 on my own. All elites bar the huge hit point versions still mainly get one shotted :D. I had a 5 stack gruesome feast and 5 stack soul harvest Haunt / Locust Swarm chain to mobs miles away. The Locusts slows them by 80 and by the time they reached me they had about 15m health left each :D. It's so overpowered. But I guess the balance is that you have to get close to harvest.

Keywardens should have an icon on the map, so you know where they are. Given they aren't 100% drop, even on hardest difficulty, having to spend 80% of the time looking for them just seems really......not fun?

Just having no luck at all on this. 50 hours of farming has only netted me one piece of Sunwuko. Kind of frustrating since I've hit a wall now and can't really progress much without obtaining a select few pieces of gear. Starting to lose interest.

Apologies for asking what has probably been asked quite a bit before, but I have just re-installed the game after a long absence, so I was wondering where the best place to buy a digital download of RoS is?

Thanks.

Are you gambling for pieces also?

Rusty - How has the switch to 2h furnance been like on your Jade? Any problems with survivability?

My 1H + Mojo combo didn't have any Vitality so no different. The only thing I'm missing is the 20 yard amplification range on Grave Injustice provided by ToTD which then means I can spirit walk / harvest more often. Harvesting without Spirit Walk above GR31-32 is largely suicidal.

My ToTD didn't roll that well so I had to butcher it - it has good damage on it and 10% crit but rolled mana regen and a useless skill so I had to re-roll the skill to Haunt. Ideally the mana regen would have been CDR or vitality...

I die a lot in higher greater rifts but I put most of the deaths down to my bad play. I kind of switch off a little in them as let's be honest they aren't the most exhilirating things in the world. I also get bored dotting and then running away and hiding in the next room while Spirit Walk / Soul Harvest gets ready so I end up going ninja mode to try and proc Grave Injustice some more (by being close while white mobs die) which of course means more danger and more death. When I get it right thought it's fun because I can just chain between packs.

Torment 6 is face roll. Even 2 player versions of Torment 6 with just me fighting is pretty easy.

My latest thinking is that a perfect Sunkeeper (with a Ramaldini box) with ToTD is preferable to The Furnace for higher greater rifts... it's not the normal thinking but the thought process is that with 30% elite damage and a high damage roll on the 1H mace you're looking towards 900m-1.1b harvests on elite and you gain the benefits of the grave injustice range boost from ToTD which then means you can harvest more. If you could harvest safely without Spirit Walk then The Furnace would be better every time but as you can't on higher rift levels the reduction in cooldown of these abilities could end up as more damage overall than The Furnace. One to test I think.
