Where did your Furnace drop from? I am beginning to think I will never ever get one :(

A breakable in Halls of Agony L3 :D. I didn't even mean to break it either. It was meant to be!

It's random though so I wouldn't go around breaking things in HoA L3 if I were you :p.

It's the rarest 2h weapon in the game.

Everytime a 2-handed mace drops (which is low in itself), of those 2-handed maces, it has a 2-3% chance to be a Furnace.

Yes, I know this. You are not helping!!! :p :D

Jammy sod. Not jealous at all :p

To anyone crafting the hellfire amulet do you craft it right away when you get a set of organs or stock up in organs first?

So this evening I was playing my DH with Silures and Pimm, and Silures found a Etrayu which he kindly gave to me! :)

Then I found another one, which I gave to Pimm, then Silures found a Krider but the rolls weren't so good (sorry dude! :(). Just before logging off I found another Etrayu.

3 x Etrayu in one evening. crazy!

After receiving that email the other day from battle.net, I logged in online and sure enough my password had been reset.

Didn't go anywhere near any of the links in the emails though just to be safe. No mention on the battle.net website that I could see about stuff getting reset though. Just thought I would let other people know if it happens to them, just head to the website and do it through that :)

Beware. People of the Internet fight to the death regarding RNG/loot table nonsense.

RedvGreen/Foo - He is our resident nutcase. He tries to make sense of it. He was even taking notes and doing sums about it at one point. But he is totes a nutter, and he is rubbish. So it's up to you if you want to listen to him and his loot table theories.

Oi!

Lol, plenty of people have had success with it - such as those who've had multiple same-item-types drop in the same game, then going to Kadala and lo-and-behold, the item types drop from her too! :D

A few nights ago I was in a game with some folk who appeared to be pretty well-geared and very high in paragon (700+) - they said in broken english that they collected all legendaries and dropped in Town in their item types so their clan mates knew what was in the drop table. As it happened, the game I was in had a stack of about 6 item types (Rings / Chests / Helms / Daggers / Amus and 2H Flails). They then reset the game because one of their WDs needed a Ceremonial Mask which wasn't in the drop table. Wasn't really a fun game at all, but interesting to see potentially experienced players aware of the drop table system.

Or the fact they're paragon 700+ means that over time they've just collected what they needed? People will rationalise what they don't understand however they please but until it's actually been confirmed by Blizzard it's just random speculation.

Finally managed to get 6 piece firebirds for my Wiz, had the boots and source from kadala in a couple of hours after gambling for about a week.

Also had a serpent sparker drop too.

Critique me please guys;

I used a gift on the sparker so still have a reroll, reroll intelligence due to it being low?

What else do you reckon?

I'd say you want to get 10% damage rolled instead of resource cost reduction personally.

Don't believe in loot tables either. I get plenty of legs from Kadala when gambling for items that haven't dropped in game.

That's the thing though, that just means that they hadn't dropped yet ;).

The whole loot table thing (loot tables do exist, but not in the way the conspiracy guys seem to think) is a load of rubbish, IMO.

I know we've all been over this a zillion times, but I doubt Blizzard would ever corroborate or deny how loot works/or has worked.

If you were one of those people who had thrown 10,000+ shards at Gloves hoping for a T&T, yet you only actually had a chance of getting them for about 1000 shards (when gloves were in the drop table), you'd be absolutely gutted at wasting the 9000 where gloves were not in the drop table.

The global outrage at wasted time would be horrendous, and many players would quit etc.

The best way if you're not believing in droptables is simply rehost a new game each rift/cache, at least they the blood shards gained will be staggered against a wider % chance.

No you're right they wouldn't which means the theory is simply that - a theory. My only problem is the way you constantly keep coming in this thread saying it's 100% true when you can't say that for definite.

No that isn't the best way because that implicitly carries the belief that drop tables exist. Which I don't so it's pointless. I see it as a game not something to theorise over the drop rate. I like the fact it's a mystery how it works. If I don't get what I want to drop I'll play some more until it does. If it doesn't drop then eventually I'll get bored and stop playing which is the same outcome if the item drops.
