I'm enjoying my Nautilis mini, It leaked the first time I filled it but I took it apart, tightened everything and refilled and it's been fine since last night.

Not smoked a single fag today!

Both the Mephisto & Fogger up and running !

Hope you like them I certainly do :)

Cheers

I've just ordered the Vamo v6 20w from Fasttech for £18.
Not the greatest mod I know but once I've built a descent kit I can always get a better mod that takes the same batteries.

Now just need to order a descent charger and a few 18650 batteries. Any recommendations?

The charger that I use is the Efest Luc 4, it charges 4 batteries at once, you can mix various types in the unit, digital display showing the status of each battery & voltage overcharge protection.

I picked mine up from my local bricks & mortar store for around £30.

Well worth the investment :)

Google it etc

Hope this helps

Cheers

I have the Nitecore D4. Around £20 from FT I think? I paid more and got mine from Torchy. I like it WAY better than my old i4, not that that was a bad charger.

As for batteries, I doubt the Vamo will fire anything that requires a Sony 30A battery, but that's probably the route I would go still, as it opens options later if you decide to try mechs, and sub-ohm dripping.

Failing that, pretty much anything from Torchy (over on UK Vapers) will do. I put up a price list for him a few pages back (probably 10+ at the speed of this thread, lol). Although my personal favourite non 30A battery is the grey Panasonic CGR's. They hit great. Better than the AW IMR's everyone bangs on about.

Just vaping some Scopes "Secret Sauce" - WOW

Simon has done it again, if you like Caramel it is one to try. Lovely warm and smooth flavour and some good clouds with a KFL @ 1.2Ohms.

Also ordered some Boozy Bounty which I'll try next.

So my new goto flavours are -

Scopes Apple Tart
Scopes Peach
Scopes Secret Sauce
Minion Fart

Still need me some GVC though...

Alright lads, while I'm on a moan about all this.

My stuff arrived the other day, got it all working eventually and didn't think it was all that great if I'm honest. Bought some tobacco flavour and some mocha stuff. Put the tobacco in the Nautilus thing and just thought it tasted like the bog standard e-cigs but a lot thicker, not nice inhaling it either.

After getting bored of that I put the mocha stuff in the other tank thing I got with the MVP battery and that was absolutely horrid, tasted like I was snorting the dust off the floor of a bovril factory.

I carried on puffing away on the tobacco stuff until it got a bit low and then put some stuff in there but it started sputtering loudly and blowing out drips of liquid, got a bit on my tongue too. I thought that I must have got some liquid in the middle bit so I took it all out, rinsed it in water and let it dry overnight. Just filled it back up and it's still doing it, anyone know why?

Have to say, I know you lot are fans of this but it doesn't seem great at all. When we used to smoke hookahs a lot, it was the berry flavours that were the best, are they any better? I was willing to give this is a go even when I realised I'd be puffing on what looks like a walkie talkie but given that it's also rank, I've bought 20 Marlboro Lights instead, and they were so brilliant that I can't help but feel like you lot have given up meat and are trying to convince me my flame grilled rump steak isn't as nice as your quorn chicken nuggets.

What voltage/wattage are you vaping it at? You may need to dial it down a bit.

Get yourself some T-Juice Red Astaire. ;)

Seems to me that the juices you bought were not great by the sounds of it.

Personally never tried a tobacco flavour ejuice sine I gave up the stinkies 4 months ago.

What is the ohm rating for the coil in the mini?

You could be running a too higher wattage on the mvp, start a 7.00 watts and gradually up it until the flavour tastes burnt then you know you have gone too far.

Digbys, Mrs Lords & Tmax snake oil are the ones I have bought online and they all taste great, also I have been buying other juices from my local bricks and mortar store which are made up on the premises most have been great but a couple of then have tasted awful.

Also when you fill the tank let it sit for a while after you have filled it so the juice gets into the wick on your coil that should help too.

Hope this helps you.

Cheers all

oops forgot to mention the taste varies depening on which atty you use.

For example I was initially vaping with a bulk standard Kanger Evod setup, tried out a buttermint juice in it a few weeks ago it tasted ok, 2 nights ago I put some of the same juice in one of my Expromizer attys & the same stuff nearly blew my head off the flavour was stronger and not so washed out.

I vowed to not going down the route of building my own coils and wicking etc, but I had a change of mind and the result was a much better experience, a bit fiddly doing my own coils at first & wicking but the more you do the better they get, plus there are plenty of videos on youtube which really helped me.

Have you googled your tank gurgling problem etc it may be worth a try?

Cheers

Just washed it all out again, dried it with a cotton bud thing and a hair dryer, looked at some vaping forum that said to basically do what I did plus a few other things like hold it upside down and fire it. Screwed the thing on as hard as I possible could this time and it's still doing it.

I'm close to losing my temper with it if I'm honest. You buy a packet of fags and you can be halfway down one by the time the change is in your pocket, you don't have to assemble half a jet engine to do it.

Are you letting the juice soak into the coil once you have filled it?

Does varying the watts on your mvp make any difference?

Is there anybody local to you that can help?

Cheers
