Just washed it all out again, dried it with a cotton bud thing and a hair dryer, looked at some vaping forum that said to basically do what I did plus a few other things like hold it upside down and fire it. Screwed the thing on as hard as I possible could this time and it's still doing it.

I'm close to losing my temper with it if I'm honest. You buy a packet of fags and you can be halfway down one by the time the change is in your pocket, you don't have to assemble half a jet engine to do it.

It's not complicated. What juice are you using? Crap stuff tastes crap and personally I cant stomach coffee or tobacco flavours.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of coffee or tobacco flavours either. They are just rank.

The main problem everyone has is finding a flavour they like. As much as I hated menthol smokes, I love vaping mint. It's a nice palate cleanser. And fruity mints are my favourites.

When I started out, well, not long after, I was hooked on Blueberry and Mint. It was sooooo fruity, yet fresh at the same time. I loved it. And that was in an evod. Didn't think it could get any better. But now I'm way past that.

Anyway, my recommendation would first be to drop the watts right down. Start at 4 watts, and see what it tastes like. When I first started I never went above 6 watts on a pre-built single coil.

Next up os try a couple fruity flavours. T-Juice Red Astaire is a favourite of mine, and try a blueberry, or some other fruity flavours. They will probably be the best to start with, just to try to get the hang of it.

I started like you, I also went for the tobacco flavours (hangsen) and they just tasted like ashtrays. I thought about packing it in aswell.

I'm glad I didn't now though.

I have a vision spinner and a protank 2 mini on it and this is very straight forward and easy to use.

I have a mech mod with a kayfun lite aswell (took some getting used to wicking) and the flavour etc is even better on this.

I only started enjoying it when I bought a good juice. Try scopes apple tart, GVC, digbys mums custard, apple cinnamon (or any other Dignys really coz there all good) and you'll love it then. After all you wouldn't smoke tab ends so why smoke rubbish juice you don't enjoy.

Honestly don't give up because by the sounds there is something wrong with your build. If it didn't work people wouldn't bother.

I never thought I'd entertain the idea but now I'd rather this than cigs.

I wish I could erase the first month of vaping if I am honest. Buying horrible hangsten flavours and using crappy gear.
1st rule and I cannot stress this enough......buy quality juice.
2nd rule- This is not an exact science and most products out there have their own little quirks but a little patience and you will greatly benefit from them.
Ive just bought my first Kayfun 3.1 and the wife thinks I have the patience of a saint sitting with all this crap on the coffee table building coils and re-assembling it. However, youtube and some quality advice from here and Digbys apple and cinnamon and Northern vapes custard and kiwi make me so glad I went down the coils/cotton route

I have a feeling your over tightening it, Mine leaked when I first filled it and I followed the manual to a T. The only thing you really need to tighten is the coil, make sure thats really tight and then just lightly tighten the top and bottom, It creates a vacuum in use and shouldn't leak.

As for the spluttering, if you mean a gurgle then experiment with voltages or watts if thats what yours displays and the airholes. I found mine gurgles becuase of moisture build up under the driptip, take it off and wipe the inside both parts.

I got a tobacco flavour to start and its called "Hobbits Choice" by Vapemunki, I love the taste and reminds me of an Innis and Gunn beer I sometimes drink. Mines set at 4.2v and its on the 3rd largest airhole, Nice gentle throat hit, just enough vapour and a really clear flavour.

I had a revelation the other day. I was working for two days in a place that has banned ciggies and e-cigs on the premises on the grounds of fire hazard. It was a 15 minute walk to the "smoking" area. Breaks were 15 minutes so that was out of the question.

After reminding them that perhaps they should ban the kettle in the kitchen too because it works on exactly the same principle, I resigned myself to nicotine cravings and grouchy attitude for two days. Guess what? Nothing. Not even a niggle.

I quit the stinkies in January this year and it appears that's it. I don't even need to vape any more. So I'm going to put my kit into the drawer and see how it goes. Can this be the end of a 25 year habit?

Just pop in to your local ecig vendor and if they are decent they'll help you out.

If stopping vaping is your end goal then the best of luck to you red.

If you decide to part with your gear, keep us in mind :p:D;)

I had a revelation this morning around 10:30am, my red efest 18650 battery which was fully charged decided to run out of charge.

My revelation, always from now on, keep my tiny 18350 purple efests in the pocket. tbh 4 hours ish without a vape and I don't feel to bad, if it was stinkies I would be climbing the walls by now!

Nope it was never my end goal, I love vaping, I have immersed myself into it over the last 9 months and spent a shed load of wonga. I just want to prove to myself that it really is an avenue to quid the nicotine, so into the drawer they go. Been fine so far today...

Wow, could I do another give-away of my Sophia, Cage and GP Paps? Nahhhh - save them as a reminder maybe :)

After a firmware update last night the Cloupor T5 now runs at 75w as opposed to 50w, happy days :)

Doubt I will ever vape that high though ;)

Cheers all

I see Cloupor have pulled the firmware due to problems. Hope yours is ok.

So my FT parcels arrived in the UK on the 12th(sent from china on the 7th)
and again royal mail are hanging on to them :(

Thanks for the heads up.

All I have done is make sure the watts went up to 75, didn't fire it though :)

Also battery life was meant to be improved to.

Cheers

I updated my software, put a 0.9 ohm dual coil on a dripper at 75 watts fired it once and the temperature shot up to 125 degrees, smoke started pouring out of the vent holes and the screen shut down, I took the battery out and the whole inside of the device has melted. It's lucky my son was in bed because my living room was filled with burnt plastic smoke and my throat is sore as a result. 'BOOM' is a great description of what this update does to your cloupor...

I ran into the front garden (in a very manly fashion) while taking the screws out of the base, dropped the battery out onto the floor and stepped back to see if it was going to vent. But after about 30 seconds I picked up the battery, it wasn't even warm to the touch so the battery hadn't shorted. I think the chip just overheated and fried the inside, its all melted where you put the battery and I'm not planning on risking anything by putting a battery back into it. My battery seems to be fine though, no marks, no swelling, and its powering my zmax just fine

As somone that owns an IPV2 what cons are they? As I have not seen any.

Well.... I stupidly forgot to take the protective film off the touch sensor and had an auto fire :p but that was user error not the mod.

I was put off by the reviews i've seen, but the biggest one for me was the gap between the body and the door and that juice could get inside, especially if you use leaky tanks like my kayfuns (they leak from the fill hole).
