Just ordered the msi 970 and a phenom matx case.... Secretly!
and had the parcel sent to a ups collection so my wife doesnt know i have ordered anything
And when she goes away for a few days next weekend with the daughter will build it and have fun haha
Will worry about her wrath when she comes back

Yeah, I dunno what to suggest. I got a blank order through about 4 hours after I ordered. But at least then I had the order number to phone and get corrected. I'm not sure whether the blank order came through by itself or had some help from staff.

i had the same phoned up after i ordered at 8:30am they said ring back in an few hours at 12:30 they asked me my name. found my order (didnt have no order no)

confirmed the order & they stored & shipped it out

I bought a 780 Classy at the beginning of August to hold me over until the 9 series launched. Then I was going to use the EVGA step up program if the performance was worth it.

3 bad Classies in a row and finally got my 4th and so far working card yesterday.

So I bought a card to hold me over and have not been able to get one working until the day before the 9 series released.

Could have just saved myself the time and just waited and bought a 980 on release lol.

SLI 970 is only £160 more than a single 980 and much more powerful, if already having an idea of buying a 980 and spending well over £400 i don't see why you wouldn't just get SLI 970 for that bit extra. 970 isn't even that far behind the 980.

SLI 970 is only £160 more than a single 980 and much more powerful, if already having an idea of buying a 980 and spending well over £400 i don't see why you wouldn't just get SLI 970 for that bit extra. 970 isn't even that far behind the 980.

If you get the two cheapest 970's vs the cheapest 980 it is actually only £80 more!

Phoned twice now, three times if you count a separate issue with logging into my account. (It's been a right day!) I was told to wait until i receive an order confirmation, which should have happened about 9 hours ago. Can't even cancel the order for a refund because the order doesn't exist! All i've achieved today is to lose £462 with nothing but a headache to show for it.

Also, how does one use the customer service forum?

Sounds like you are having about as much fun as me. It took multiple phone calls and a CS thread to get mine moving only for them to somehow decide to ship it to the wrong address. Then despite advising of them of this via the CS thread and on the phone yesterday I get a mail from DPD advising delivery time today (to wrong address).

Two phone calls later today and I have been told it will have to go back to the depot for shipping Monday but I can only get a partial refund on the Saturday shipping charge (ie losing out on free weekday shipping for forum members)

That is awful. If it is OCUK's fault for putting the wrong address on it you should be refunded the Sat delivery charge in full.
