Going out solo - age limit?

I have pretended to be an Australian backpacker when in a similar situation to you op. Yes, I know. But it got me lots of drunken snogs for some reason. It's not hard to convince someone that you're Australian as an Englishman, because the accent is so easy to do.

Just slip 'ah mite' into the odd sentence and you're away.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, that's brilliant, I once had an ex that did really good accents, and we would pretend to be people from American and stuff on a night out when it was just us.

"Naaa darlin, we over from Texas visin' famleee"...

So, the Aussie accent will be a laugh tonight. I'm going to have a couple more beers then start getting ready to go out.

Amazing :D

haha i used to do this regular :p

missus would say where are you oh im in blackpool or clubbing in some random place :p

some random nights out are the best ones.

just do it !

It's not that easy to do in the UK, most people have their own circles on nights out and will turn their nose up at anyone trying to tag on. I may have just been too drunk though.

I've done it a few times in the past and met some pretty sound people.

Are you still with this 'missus'?

It's the main reason for tonight.

Yes. Being a direct answer.

It so happens, I bumped into a bunch of NZ's on their travels I met in Amsterdam 3 weeks ago. So the night has been saved.

Not sure why there would be an upper limit on this tbh. Plenty of local pubs have older blokes propping up the bar trying to chat up the bartenderess :p Well into their 50s if not older than that even.

I'm newly 32 and on my way it solo clubbing right now :p

What music policy does tonight's club have in store and what's the norm these days? Dubstep?

I did solo clubbing from age 22 to 30, pretty much always hard house. It was easy to make friends as we were all in it for the same music genre and often went to the same venues. The only reason I stopped was I lost my job 5 years ago, found myself a minimum wage job, then by the time I was back on a £13k wage, the hard house scene has dried up :(

Only just on my way home now, awesome night, Ronski Speed smashed it! :D

The night was a mixture of trance and house

Yeah, because that's not weird at all. :D
