AMD teasing new product, is it Radeon or FirePro?

Lower consumption means high overclocking and less noise in a lot of cases. Plus imagine the damage they could do with a 250w maxwell chip.

I thought that was me?

You're the competition for redness, and you can keep your weird veet habits to yourself!

You're such a tease Toaster, stop winding these poor people up!

Your 'serious little birdy' is just Tracks & Roy's tea boy anyway. :p:D

Well maybe he saw something whilst serving them tea.

If they show anything its surely going to be a prototype.

390X + Asetek / Excavator + Asetek.

I doubt it will be lower-powered if it needs an Asetek out of the box.

This could be a GTX 680 moment for AMD, whereby they release a card as a holding position and then quickly replace it.

I just hope the AMD PR presentation is better than the last one, it was too long and had some really long boring sections in it.

It would be surprising if it was a gpu release as there have literally been no leaks other than that cooler prototype.

30% increase in performance stock for stock over 290X, 300W TDP and AIO cooler :p

She needs moar powah captain!

AMD for me has done pretty well and managed to keep up GPU wise (if you dont mind about power consumption and heating up a room - you might as well not use your house radiator in that room). I was so glad when the 290/x came out those were really nice and competing nicely the 780/780ti. I am sad that in CPU departments they cannot compete as it doesn't make sense. Anyway i hope they bring a monster GPU out so that Nvidia wakes up a bit and give us a proper GPU. Competition never harmed anyone except maybe those who compete but not always - ie now that intel is no1 and has no competition their new gen cpus are meh so no need to upgrade as we used to when Intel and AMD where fighting, so less money for them.

Clearly a cut out for AIO cooling pipes.

What is the source for that image? Do we know for sure that it wasn't made by someone with a 3D printer, then sprayed? :p
