**Official Parvum Build Thread**

Will a Corsair 105 rad fit in the top of case? Thinking of going smaller microatx. ATX is just a bit much for me. also is there any way to put a DVD Writer? or maybe I get a external drive.

Yeah within reason. We are working hard on an ATX case. That said as you may have seen a few times we can easily add more rad space etc.

Email if you have some ideas. We are working on a 1 off ATX case for a friend so it'll really help with Magnus efforts to get this thing to retail.
 
hi the ATX you have here is fine, the style isn't important because you have that right already.

it's important that we have something different, i also like the idea of a custom open air pc, a better version of the old Antec Skeleton, somewhere around here i have Autocad, it wouldn't be hard for me to design something for you to cut...only an idea :cool:
 
Just stumbled across this thread and have to say all the cases look amazing.

I feel as if I'm being inspired to make a second build just to use on of the cases rather than actually needing they look so good.

I think the perception of small is down to the individual as I don't feel its too small at all. Personally I think its perfect. ITX would have been better for me but:

1) I couldn't find a nice ITX case and Parvum didnt have one at the time
2) Didnt want to shell out bucket loads of cash if I decided to go crossfire

The Micro with a good watercooling setup is perfect and you cannot go wrong :)
 
So today I started building up my Parvum 2.0. It's turned out Ok, not happy with a few things, but it will do.

I may in the future go for a normal WC setup with my old EK cpu block and an EK res/pump, but will need to think about.

I'd really like a custom front panel but have no idea about designing one, Justin at Parvum has said he can make, i just need ideas.

Anyway I hope people thinks alright. Sorry about the pictures, best I can do.

Thanks. I had you make me a new bottom and motherboard panel. You will probably remember if I say, you shipped it to Paris.

I'd like to get the rear panel with no 80mm fan slots as I'll never fit any.
 
I see a lot of water cooling setups in these Parvum cases. Are they best suited to that rather than air? How are they to build in? What about cable management?
 
Cable management can be tricky. I have 4 ssds in the back and I'm also trying to fit in a fan controller, and the Corsair cables are quite stiff so things are tight, but apart from that its no more difficult to work in that any other case.
 
Excellent job Pacegod, Nice idea about gpu cables through floor. I did wonder if a false floor could be installed at one point and make cutouts for SSD's to poke through whilst hiding cables etc. Wonder if gpu cables would fit under it also

Well IMO you wont have any issues on air. You get WAY more space in the back than you would a traditional case. For example; this is a lot of space:

Yeah that is generous. Lovely looking cases IMO. My other concern though is lack of dust filters... my current case seems to collect a lot, and the filters are a godsend. Without them, I might have a problem.
