I'd assume they'll eventually 'fix' them, as they do seem pointless. I've only ever had four drop and they've all given me rares. Most of the legendary items I've got came from blue engrams funnily enough.

would be good, it would have a better feeling knowing that engram holds a legendary, than presently where you know the cryptarch will screw you.

I'm keeping the packages the cryptarch gives as a reward for levelling up because of this. I've heard you will just get a blue from old legendary engrams but since I haven't opened these yet, i'm hoping for the improved loot from the packages when the patch comes out.

Luck, I don't know of any way to get specific bounties, I had to discard my first bounty yesterday, but I've been lucky enough to be able to get 5 different exotic weapons now. I'm just missing the scout rifle, which I have never seen.
 
Finally got level 26 and now have full legendary gear apart from primary / special gun. Just a pain upgrading it all now :/

Think I'll be aiming for level 3 vanguard next and save for a legendary gun.

What would you recommend for the titan?
 
Is there only two possible item from queen quests? Helm and chest?

If so I have both and happy to help others get both if needed.

There only seems to be 6 exotic bounties to get, I assume the choices are random so just keep doing bounties and hope. I've got Bad JuJu, Pocket Infinity and Super Good Advice so far, my last exotic bounty were the same 3, did super good advice again as its very quick and broke it down for energy.
 
Level 27 and never had an exotic bounty, likewise all my engrams always turn green or blue...

Stuck with rare/blue primary & secondary weapons.. :(
 
Isit true that you get a legendary armour after every queens wraith mission? im level 24 and can't do it on my own i get to the final boss and one death and its over, i only have one psn friend and they don't have destiny :( lol If anybody wants to add me and can help me with this strike that would be awesome! my psn is CookerWoofer

Yeah a Helm or Chest piece. Loads on here have been adding folk. Sure some can help.

Just re roll until you get the earth mission, I did it very easily on level 24 and its only 10mins long .
