**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

easy to set up thanks to the xperia app..just ported over what I wanted from the old phone automatically...dead easy!

feels nice...and more importantly as I take snaps when I am fishing, it won't break if I get it wet!
 
First time I've shown serious interest in Sony phones since I owned a K800 in 2007. Only problem is.. I can't make my mind up between this and the Z3 compact! Is it really just down to lifestyle choice between the two?! As the hardware specs are identical aren't they?

yup..purely down to screen size and resolution...slightly less metal in the compact

higher res doesn't = lower DPI(size of everything)

for e.g. on nexus 5 stock DPI is too much for me! had to lower it from 480 to 380
 
Are handtec okay to order from? Amazon still saying delivery due tomorrow but not yet dispatched.... don't really feel inclined to believe them
 
My mobilesdirect order hasn't changed even though they said I would get it if I ordered before 6.30. Annoying.

If it helps I was speaking to an Amazon customer support guy no more then 10mins ago. He phoned the dispatch warehouse whilst I was chatting to him and then assured me the pre-order of my Z3c was going out tonight even though I don't have a dispatch email yet.

Mine just told me that it is out of stock, think I'm going to cancel and just use handtec
 
It's late and I'm tired but I had to finish the draft and submit it for review approval just because I can't leave something half done!

Would be nice to give an actual reason rather than automatically generated crap
WHY WAS THE DELIVERY ESTIMATE CHANGED?
While we do our best to stick to these estimates, unexpected fluctuations in supply or demand, manufacturing issues, or release date changes for new products can occasionally add time to our original availability estimates.

Damn unlucky.

Wonder if I'd kept the Copper order then would I have experienced the same delay!
