**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

oooh just spoke to my missus on her new 4g phone as well (she went for an orange nokia 930 in the end)...what a difference in call quality!!

we both had galaxy s3's previously..it was like speaking to somebody with a bag over their head!

Just taken delivery of my copper phone and it is a lovely bit of tech. One thing I have immediately started to worry about is the magnetic contact points. I keep touching them while holding the phone and I am worried over time grease or oil from my skin will damage them, is this a possibility?

Mine fell from the side of the bath onto the tiled floor :(
Got a 1 centimetre scratch on the back as a result :( :(

Damn you Sony - it should be illegal to sell phones without covers and screen protectors :(
 
Contact points will be fine. Z2 owners have yet to complain :p

Just wash it every few months too? :D

Waterproof phone falls from bath to the floor, the first time that the other way would have been better :eek:

I hate phone covers, hides the beauty and aesthetics of the device itself. What you should damn Sony (and other manufacturers) for is making devices which do not stand up to light knocks and scratches - Gorilla glass is great!

Soooo are there any cases out yet for the Z3 any one would recommend? Just got my copper Z3 delivered woo!!! No sim yet but ah well...it looks too nice to take outside tbh.
 
Went to order with EE and they require you to show ID upon delivery....well I cant deliver it to a site of 2k+ people then can I?! Madness.

Oh?! Is the component the same on the Z3? Iirc the contact area is a different size hence different docks needed?

This phone just feels so good. The battery smooth surface, the cool to the touch metal bezels and the slimness.

Ooohhh.
 
If there was a super slim case, even slimmer than those Nilkin slim cases out there then I'd slap one on but anything more than 1mm thick and it would just add negative bulk to the feel IMO :S
