I don't see how this is possible. How would a Petrol Station have access to MIB data?
Obviously I trust the dealer to have taxed the bike, as the price I paid is OTR, but as I'm somewhat paranoid, I was hoping to be able to check on the gov website when I pick it up. Unfortunately it's still down so if it's not working tomorrow, I'll be extra paranoid ridding around![]()
The companies that run the camera sell the info. The same as the councils sell SPECS speed camera data to the TMC operators for traffic data.

You raise an interesting point. What happens to OTR prices now? I'm guessing that they will all say (Exc tax). I bet dealers still charge the same price though and pocket the difference as extra margin.
