Nautilus crew!

Anyone found theirs tends to struggle a little with thicker juice? I'm getting dry/burnt hits on mine with a Vaporshark even at low watts (1.8ohm coils/10-11w).

Also, from the reviews they were saying the coils last around a month, I'm getting a bloody week if that!

Might have to go back to the Kayfun after all...

Was just thinking that, 20w, VV and VW and nearly a tenner cheaper! I might get one for the *cough* missus too.

Also the MVP2 is PWM this isn't, which imo is a good thing. Not that PWM is bad, but just nicer having a constant power.

use a smaller airhole, it helps draw thicker juice into the wick. Also lower the power, 8-9 i find best. I suspect your burning the juice and thats why your getting through coils.

Those coils will never last a month! Maybe a few weeks with a menthol juice, but not a chance in hell with a custard or thicker VG heavy juice, A week is more like it.... ;)

I usually change my wick in my Kayfuns every two tanks, sometime once a tank depending on juice. Only takes a minute.

My BVC's last around 40-50ml but I never push them over 4v.. 3.8v mostly. Roasting the juice is going to cause a coil to get coated in burnt gunk a lot quicker.

The kayfun, like V_R, I swap wicks often. It's fractions of pennies for cotton builds.

On the subject of the Kayfun, Tuesday I got my self one of those Kayfil Tool's from cloud9vaping, a bit pricey for what it is but it work's and not had a single drip leak past it.. So long term I won't mind the cost.

I've got one of them in my basket, as soon as I have enough worth buying I'll have one. It good then?

Thats the only thing about the KF that I dont like is you cant change the coil/wick without dealing with the juice, that said the new KF is looking like it might have a fix for that....

I used to drain the juice with a syringe via the fill hole (KFL+) as I don't trust myself to stay over a bottle while twisting/lifting the coil-base away. Not Ideal.

The kayfil; Stand it pointing up; sit tank on it so that narrow end of kayfil slots into the chimney to it's full potential; unscrew the coil-base of the kayfun and gently slide the tank down the kayfil shaft. Done

To refit: Slot chimney end over kayfil; hold coil-base secure from the top; slide tank up the kayfil shaft and screw back together.*2

Done it half a dozen times this week with no hiccups.

Edit: ** Must mention it's only compatible with top caps with a recessed o-ring such as KFL+, K-Square and K-D **

If its the same juice-2 tanks but different juice and I will change it every time. Pennies and 10 minutes tops of my time is worth it for the perfect vape :)

Yeah I see how it works, seems good. Is the base wide enough? still looks like it could fall over quite easily...

Greg: if your not changing your wick between juices then there is something wrong with you! lol

Sonic cleaner is a great way to clean them too btw, gets the smell/taste of old or strong juices out of the tanks.

Ive heard the sony VTC4/5 are the batteries to look out for as I only have one efest to be getting on with but having a look on that well known auction site was a bit shocking........110 quid for 2 batteries?

Now I know that I wouldnt buy batteries off there anyways but why the high prices? And what batteries should I be buying for my panzer mod clone?

Lol I got a mate of mine a kayfun lite about 2 weeks ago and he was round last night. "Mine tastes dead burnt all the time" he says
"When did you change the cotton?" I said
".........cotton?" he said :p
