**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

Put this way, there's nothing I really miss from the Note 3 now having used this for several days now :P

That's a resounding endorsement :)

It's the device to get at the moment.

I had a go of the Z3 the other day and it made me very envious AND I own a Z3c!

EDIT

Looking at Amazon, this item is under review...."This product is not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described.

We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page.
"

Probably got an iPhone 6 plus instead? lol

A little early to be calling it so much better than the note 4 given reviews haven't come out yet. Definitely holding fire until its released as we still don't really know how the battery life is going to stack up (though would be surprised if it compares well given the vastly superior screen)

Anyone used Mobile Phones direct, thinking of getting a sim free z3 and they seem ot have the best price but reviews on the site seem to be mixed

This is purely from a software stand point, I just find touchwiz is not good, over the years it gotten more and more bloated. Just looking at the sheer volume of settings you get on a S5 is scary. And hardware construction on the Z3 seems amazing, I know Samsung is finally using a metal band but I have a feeling the Z3 will come out on top.

One place Samsung will surely win is that display, its going to be the best display out simply put.

Both myself and mug2k have ordered one with them, I placed my order week ago yesterday for a white Z3, still 'awaiting arrival of your phone'. Don't know if mug2k has his yet, but I'm calling to have a word, I don't mind waiting, but the price has dropped from 489 to 459, not sure if they can still charge the price from when I ordered it, being it's been out of stock since I placed my order. If that's the case I'll cancel and get one that IS in stock, be it black or copper.

Edit. Re-read T&C's. They can change price at anytime, without notice.

So I'll have to cancel and re-order. Cheap isn't always best.. :o

Yeah I agree touchwiz is a massive turnoff and its just aswell the phone comes with 32gb of ram rather than 16 else they'd be little room for anything else.
Still cannot get my head around why Sony released the X3 with 16gig rather than 32.. As mrk recently discovered KitKat has meant sdcard usage is far less flexible than it used to be but I guess if you don't go crazy with the number of apps you install then its not too much of a prob.

I'm not sure having 32gb onboard would make a massive amount of difference, it's more a foible of KK that means the SD is not very useful :(

Yet on their web sites they show in stock....hmmm that is the impression I have, guess i'll just wait on amazon prime to come online again

My friend was confused the other day whilst I was explaining to him that one reason the Z3 (Z2 in my case) is miles better than the iP6 is because I have 144GB of storage and it only cost an extra £60 rather than the £200 odd it costs for that storage option on the iP; he didn't seem to understand why having a lot of storage is good haha.

I guess he can go away and listen to his compressed music library :p

I got mine on Friday, I asked them to hold off till they got the white back in stock but somebody must have missed the note on the system because I ended getting a black one, not too bothered anyway. would have liked to pay £459 though.
