Six hours is a bit steep but the rear calipers on an S3 are a pain to remove and require a M14 spine bit. For a garage i'd certainly say 3 hours 'ish. I have the Pagid rear discs on mine and they are basically what Audi use anyway. The disc price can be a little steep for the fronts but it seems like prices may have come down. My rear Pagids I think were £109 for the pair.
If you have the time i'd certainly recommend you try it yourself other than standard tools all you really need is a breaker bar, M14 spline bit and strong arms unless you have a two poster lift as getting some leverage is a little difficult!
He was talking about prepping the discs, etc.Lmao 6 hours!
Pure joy to my ears.

Maybe that was his way of saying he wasn't interested.
What's your opinion on the actual products?
OEM, Brembo or non-brand from ECP?
. Those prices are stupidly high. I wouldn't expect to pay anymore than £300 on a good brand OEM product for everything.Don't live in the UK unfortunatelyAudi UK do fixed priced brake replacements, assuming they include the S3 in the upto 2l class, £279 front & £259 for the back fitted.

I'm tempted to go to Germany at the weekend just to put it back in its natural habitat for a bit, hogging the outside lane at 150mphLoving the S3 I see![]()
