That bundle is great but I can't justify both no yet anyway. I never even wanted both or an Xbox the PS4 is more than adequate for me given the service is running well. The games are noticeably better on the PS4 and I have heard that One has been some online problems but I'm confident it's not half as often as PSN. They have to start acknowledging this and how there starting to annoy there customers. I'll say and hope it will get better hopefully sooner rather than later but if it doesn't I'll eventually be swapping it for the Xbox.

btw this isn't because of last night's down time, I've always have both the main consoles right since the days of NES and MASTERSYSTEM right through to previous gen, then bought both PS4 and ONE at launch, was mega keen for Forza5 , what a disappointment game that was......

Csnt justify it, and both alien and evil within run better on my ps4 anyhow. still can't justify an xbone. and with Christmas coming up, doubt I would buy it anyhow even if it was 250 price point..

I am selling both games, I think both consoles come to £510 for me when I got rid of the games they came with.

Still not interested in the under powered X1. A next gen machine should not have those specs. Perhaps when it reaches the £250 mark I might purchase one but none of the exclusives attract me at all. I used to be a big Halo fan back in the day but it's a series that has been done to death. I do like the fact that the absolute bumming Microsoft has had the past year has reignited their desire to create the best gaming platform they can. They cannot make it more powerful but they can have a fantastic online experience and add lots of features people are screaming out for. Sony's new firmware is coming and again should improve what I feel is an already great experience:

I would also suggest that the best upcoming exclusives belong to Sony. It's going to be a great end of year and 2015 on PS4.

I just wish they would offer more Vita games support....:(

But you then still had to buy the games you really wanted on top of that. It's alright boasting how cheap the consoles are when you have nothing to play on them :p

4.) You can connect a USB hard drive to your PS4 to play certain types of files off of the drive, specifically music-related file extensions like MP3, MP4, and M4A.

Lol I know, I have TLoU on PS4, think I'll get Forza on the XB1.

That'll be enough for now. Rocksmith and GTA next month.
 
Man I was so close to getting an Xbox One thanks to that bundle (there is also another similar one on Tesco Direct but isn't quite as cheap), but looking at what games are coming out.. they're pretty much all multi-platform. The only game I really want an Xbone for is Forza Horizon 2, but I can't justify spending £300~ just for that :p sure Xbox Live is much more stable than PSN, but if the game looks and runs better on PS4, that's more important to me.
 
I'd be surprised if the PSN issues are long term. Surely they are just having to upgrade massively due to the demand on the network? I have faith it will all settle by the new year. Here's hoping!

Or it's going to crumble when all the Dude bros come online to play CoD in a couple of weeks.

So up and down ever since "+" came about on PS3 isn't longterm?

Back then folk (myself included) defended it saying "You can't really complain as it is a FREE service......." Well it's not free anymore and first hand experiance tells me it's not getting any better.

I Would like to think subs went towards improving the service, the last 10months have proven otherwise.

Quinn - so you are saying sometimes it doesnt take an age for a message to send or receive or the player list to show up?

I think this is a very common issue... especially when in a game
 
Sony have nothing left at the moment to invest into Playstation. They are loosing money across all of their brands at quiet a staggering rate. They announced a Y550 million loss projected at the beginning of the year which has now been announced as a Y2.1 Billion loss.

They have nothing that is making them enough money to cover the loses and their future is not looking too good right now.

I hope they get something sorted but the latest reports are not promising.
