Hi All

I have the 2015 version of true image and can back up my entire pc, My problem is knowing how to update after that?

I always seem to have to do another full back up, where all I want is to back only the newer files etc on to the already entire concept.

The settings loose me big time lol Does any know how to update after a full back up?

You need to make one full backup, then click on your backup and click options, this will give you the screen attached here, you can set your automated incremental backups in the backup scheme tab etc.
Great software and worth the money but I really prefer 2012 as the universal restore was less faffy.

Also agree with brendy about 2012 being slightly better than the later versions, these in a lot of instances just add bloatware that a lot of folks are not interested in. Not everyone obviously.

Must admit that I tend to just take full disc images once a month (other than a few critical dir's that are updated daily).

I personally don't like the incremental backs, as if one step in the chain goes FUBAR, then you could find yourself up the creek with out a paddle (or even a boat). Only my own paranoid opinion here of course ;)

Storage is getting so cheap these days too, 6 months worth of useful backups could be held easily enough in an old pc turned nas box.
