Who shaves their own head?

P.S your not a pro until you can do your own back of neck

To make things more technical and to mix it up a little as I dont have a back or portable mirror, I use the bottom of an iron to look round the back of my head, then do the neckline with the clippers in the other hand

Yes I am too lazy to buy a small mirror (Side note: I keep forgetting)

Quite a few of you gents do this then!

Think I might have to buy a set of clippers. Anyone recommend a good pair? ideally the shorter the better.

I've been shaving my own head for years but I do it properly every morning with a disposable razor. Splash it all over with hot water, lather up some shave gel and then just a cheap tesco own brand disposable. It's done in no time at all. Ironically I have a rather large bushy beard that the razor goes nowhere near!

So you literally have no hair :p

Wahl cordless lithium ion charge lasts for ages. Also have a set of Babyliss "I trim", which is fantastic does the stubble look and the head at the same time! So win win! I've used loads and loads of different trimmers over the years and Wahl are always good, others can tear your head apart :O

Nope! I don't have any issues with hair loss or anything, I just had hair I could never do anything with so getting rid was a much easier option. Think I last had hair about 14 years ago.

Been doing my own for about five years now. Like others, use a set of Wahls (went through a few cheaper clippers before them but Wahl are hands down the best).

Currently do a 2/8" all over, used to be shorter but the missus wasn't keen!

Stopped going to the barbers and started doing my own when some oik charged me £6.50 for a grade2. Started with some crappy Babyliss set which was absolute garbage until i upgraded to a set of Wahl (which came with a free side trimmer for doing back of neck).

For your head, shave it with a simple BiC disposable, they are by far the best razors to use on your head, forget all the fancy-pants multi-bladed dross the manlings use on their faces and the pretentious 'Gentleman's Accoutrement' waffle designer tat for people with far too much ego and money they will all clog up, you'll waste your money and end up with BiC disposables anyway. :D

I've been shaving my head with a blade since 18 - the last 15 years. I do it in the shower.
Find it much easier than using clippers as I found I used to miss areas with the clippers where as I tend to go against the grain with the blade so can easily feel where I've missed!

I was thinking of shaving my head, just cant be bothered with dealing with hair anymore, it's most annoying when i have my motorcycle helmet on.

I'm looking at getting one of these, anyone here have any user experience? Any good?

Take the crap plastic bits off and then use it, fantastic without those on and cuts easily and quickly.
That's what i use to cut my hair.

With the plastic bits, usless.

I've been using the Phillips clipper with the twisting head for a good few years now, it makes shaving the back of the head so much easier. I use it on zero and it's just as good as Wahl clippers.

I went from hair long enough to sit on to a #1 all over. Been doing it once a month now for a couple or three years. Two things I don't miss are waking up with a mouthful of hair or my hair trying to imitate Fuzzy Felt with my stubble. On the negative side, my head still feels cold in the Winter .
