That's a very good point, i don't think you can. To be honest i wish PS plus had a screenshot backup utility as they cant be that large in file size.

Would be great knowing you hadn't lost all of your awesome screenshots.

Like a friend of mine was going through steam screenshots of mine the other day laughing at all the stupid stuff we found/did in games

Not good to loose stuff like that, and with the ps4 not having them on the system seems like its almost loosing the ability to share them

Got the app update this morning, not a fan of the new layout.

I also hate how the PSN store breakout takes you to the web page which is optimised poorly for mobiles, I understand if you bought stuff through the app Apple/google would want a slice, but MS handle it so much better with SmartGlass.

Well at least it's fixed my library, I know longer have duplicate dlc's and applications that have no information etc :D Could just be because it rebuilt the database but meh, all good!

Also can manually check for updates on stuff with the options button (like you can on PS3)

edit: just tried shareplay, it's really weird watching someone else playing xD

Looking forward to getting home and having a play with this.

Does the update prompt or do you need to go check for one.

If it prompts i foresee my dad getting confused as to what he will be thinking he has done!

I have found that my PS4 makes a very subtle but discernible noise when in Standby mode, kind of a low-frequency hum/rumble, and I can hear it while I'm in bed in an otherwise silent room. Have started to turn it off fully now instead of use standby. Weird.

I forgot to backup my PS4 before I sent it to Sony to get repaired. Will I lose anything?
Games can be re-downloaded and game saves should re-sync from the cloud yes?

In Power Saving settings -> Set functions available in rest mode, the firmware has disabled stay connected to the internet, so it won't download patches, sync saves etc if you had it set up to do that originally.

Also now has a timer (in same location as above) for how long the USB ports are powered to charge stuff after entering rest mode.
