Edit : Ive just noticed how weird that sounds, imagine living then and being asked what year it is : two thousand six hundred and twenty one, EESH doesn't exactly flow of the tongue

Well that went well. Just ran the update and the PS4 rebooted about 4 times then failed to start properly. Booted into safe mode and wants me to download the update file to a USB stick. Currently downloading at 90KB/sec on a 20meg connection. Looks like I'm losing everything on the PS4 then!!

I think i may have been quite lucky really i downloaded when i got home from work around 8 and it took about a minute and then psn would not work

I think you may be having some local network problems do a speed test, it only took me 20 seconds ish to download that file


Should be quicker than it seems your getting
