I've never been a fan of zombie mode so I'm not really fussed either way but the trailer does make it look interesting!

Totally agree. I can't see me ever finding a game that I simply enjoy playing as much as CoD4 - especially with the longevity. Two years I was addicted to that. MW2 was good, but never matched CoD4.

Damn shame this group of "Faded Wydro Souljaboys et al" kept invading my solo games though... guess they all just wanted to steal my kills and glory

Got a DLC question.

I've not played a Call of duty game since number 2 on pc. The exo suits and the movement that comes with them, have caught my interest and look really fun, so I'm thinking of buying it.

I don't buy season passes for games, I normally wait to see if the DLC interests me. With this game, if I don't buy any DLC or only buy some DLC, rather than all, is multi-player going to be dead? I'm not going to buy it, if it's "buy all dlc or don't play mp".

I think the DLC maps are on a seperate playlist, don't quote me on that though.

DLC starts in a separate playlist then usually get sivved into the MP game modes. You usually only get thrown in lobbies with people who has the same map packs as you.

They just need to do a re make of CoD 4 for next gen. Improved graphics, animation, etc. But same maps, guns, perks. It would be perfect.

Whilst i agree that COD 4 was the best COD and i played it for a solid 2 years also, do you really think a Remake in this day and age would be the same ?

I'm not sure, ive become accustomed to the bigger killstreaks, new game modes and wider gun selection albeit the COD4 guns MP5/M16/P90/Ak47U/M40A3 in particular were incredible.

I also think because there was nothing alike CoD 4 at the time and it was the time where I bought a 360 that helped the addiction and desire to keep playing it. I'd certainly buy a "Remastered" version but deep down i don't think i'd play it and fall in love with it like i used to.

Checked mine earlier mines preparing for despatch and i pre ordered on the 23rd of August! a friend of mine says his has already been despatched.

The other games did have some sort of recoil, all be it minimal, these guns don't seem to have any at all.

You are probably right but I've always loved the minimalism of CoD 4 and still sometimes go back to it for that. The formula just worked perfectly for me. Not a fan of the way killstreaks have gone since really. If it was done well and priced accordingly it could be great. Doubt it will ever happen though.
