Hard Drive for HP Pavilion G

A friend has asked me to fix his sons computer for him. from what I can tell the Hard Drive is ****ed, could anyone reccomend a new one for a HP Pavilion G series? (never even used a laptop/notebook before )

I finaly got into it and took out the hardrive (Looks Like This)

That's 9.5mm in height, according to Toshiba. You'll probably need an adaptor for a 7mm drive.

thanks for the reply (the rubber casing around the drive does have 9.5mm embosed on it) are there any drives like this on OCUK? (without going through adapters)
