Skinny jeans and grandad trousers with orange F's

Thirty and above gives many men a problem: you are probably too old for current fashions, yet still not old enough to not give a damn.

I was always under the impression that 30 is when a man can look his absolute best.

Well, actually 5' 1" if I stretch.
38 so definitely not going to grow. lol

An unfortunate side effect of medical treatment.
Anyway, does mean I can get in to smaller places when fixing servers and PCs!

It's not too bad really.
I generally wear short sleeve shirts - no they don't come down to my wrists :p
Jackets/coats tend to be the worst, sleeves tend to drag a bit....

I like the irony of OP wading in with the everybody's a pussy gay manlet and I'm fully grown, yet OP hasn't yet figured out where to buy real clothes.

The reality is that there are lots of very good shops that sell timelessly fashionable clothes for men that will fit.

I feel for you DF.

I have 26-27" thighs, big buttocks, and a 32-33" waist, and a 45" chest. Buying off the peg is almost impossible for "trendy" clothing, but since I'm not interested in that I try to go for just "normal" - but even then it's almost impossible.

Shops don't cater for men any more, mainly for either the very large, or the opposite aka manboys.

I loathe clothes shopping.

What irony?

I don't want timelessly fashionable clothes, they're for people who have given up! Where can I get fashionable clothes for pre-middle-aged men (as opposed to boys)?

I'll be wearing nothing but suits for the next fifteen years at this rate...

The market for men is so odd, clothes also seem to either cost £5 a top or £500, hardly anything that is reasonable to look at and priced reasonably.

Annoying leg:waist ratio club member checking in. It wouldn't be so bad if I even lifted.

I am 20 something.
I could fit into a size 6 (women's sizing) dress.
I am 5ft 8 and weigh 9 stone.

Am I not a man then? You have to be the average fatty (like you, man) to be classed as a male now?

Jesus.

No. You're a dwarf.

42 years of age 5'11 with a 34 waist. Still prefer jeans and t-shirts for chillin in. Had real issues finding jeans over here that have any 'gentlemen space' (xdcx doesn't qualify for that), ended up Son of a Stag just off brick lane who looked after me a treat. Usually get a few pairs when I'm over in the states as they understand that not everyone wants to wear drainpipes that are tight enough to crush your grapes!

Fish

I am 5ft 8in, size 30 waist and 10st 11lb and consider myself small for a man. Meaning no disrespect but 9st is not really grown male size.

I know what the OP means though. Even now if I try to put on any trendy trousers I usually can't fit into them. They are definitely made for kids (I am mid 40s so not really their target customer).

I am a competitive distance runner. So that's why I weigh so little. I am as manly as anybody else, I workout and lift more weights than a lot of men who you'd consider men purely because their size. This whole analogy in this thread is insanity.

pretty much everywhere sells jeans with a 34 inch waste, even top man, river island etc ok so they have a lot of skinny jeans right now as it happens to be in fashion. There are plenty more shops. Poor rant.
