Do you think one of these would be good replacement for certification books etc? I figured I could carry them around with me in a small percentage of the size of the physical book!

Technical books? No, a nice high resolution tablet is definitely better and allows you to navigate around and jump around a PDF easily.

Totally agree. My coursework books have diagrams and tables. It's an impossibility on my Kindle.

Howver, on my iPad air. That's a different story altogether. Superb.
