If I cant get s-off then I cant install Google Play Edition ROM, I want close to stock android (latest version) if possible.

Hi mate I was running stock HTC 4.4.2 which mine came with.

Then just used sunshine then flashed the current GPE 4.4.4

When I check my phone it is still unlocked and s-off :)

Couple of questions if you don't mind guys; I'm considering one of these but I want to know:

What's the battery life like compared to the Note 4, Z3 and iPhone 6? Equal or worse?
Is the sound output via the audio jack up to scratch?
Is the camera any good? My last HTC Desire HD had an ok camera, but nothing to write home about.

Battery life is better than my note 3 and miles better than the iphone 6.

Sound quality via jack is best iver experienced on a phone.

Camera is good. Not great, but good. Focus is faster than any other, and shutter speed is lightning, and low light is good. Better than my note 3. Its not an iphone 6 though...
 
I am finding the battery life on this Voda branded one I just purchased not that great, the oneplus one last slightly longer.
Not sure why that is?

Have you got GSAM battery monitor installed? If not, install and run it for a few days...if its a rogue app you'll now very quickly
