Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

I don't mind skill based matchmaking however connection should come first . If it searched for everyone available with a good connection then of those searched for similar skill it would be fine. It is the fact it seems skill overides connection or connection simply isn't a factor in the search.
 
Been playing all morning. Not experienced much lag.

Multiplayer is pretty tight, really enjoying it still. Not sure about a couple of the maps but I really like the boost jumps and the new tactical element it brings. Lots of moaning in this thread. Resembles the FIFA thread! If it frustrates you that much then ditch the game. Don't waste time on something you don't enjoy, lots of good games out there.

Its not a myth at all (its been well documented and talked about by developers) , my friend was on a 5mb adsl connection and on black ops 2 he used to get positive every game and he said he was going fibre broadband so i told him that the game would change for him and he would more likely be worse off.

He didnt listen and 2 weeks later...

I was right, he was raging SOOOOO much because he couldn't even get a game where he drew even. He was constantly on a negative.

It got that bad after a few weeks of trying his little heart out and him raging so much he sold the game.

Never had this myself neither with majority of the group I play with, some with 60mb connections. Then on the other side of the coin I have a couple of friends who pay who have 1mb connections (one even tethers (3g) to play) yet he can't hit a barn door...

Same happened with fifa, it was documented years ago they used scripting and now everyone aassumes it is still there...

I sit on a very fast connection and I don't have any issues like that's being discussed here, yes I have the odd bad game but that's because someone/team is better than me/you.

Some people need to accept you can't win everything, sit back...and enjoy the game.

The more you try to convince yourself they is lag compensation in the game the more you will rage and more the rage the worse you'll play.
 
Bought this yesterday for PS4 and only played the first mission of the campaign and spent the rest of time on multiplayer with varied results some of the bad games down to me and some I am sure down to multiplayer being a bit dodgy but still enjoying it on the hole and done ok this afternoon running around like a loony with MP11 and like the AK12 a lot aswell .
 
After playing today with Soulja and Wyrdo it's pretty obvious it's the match making that's causing the issues.
One lobby were were in and there were we people from France, Germany, Holland and Italy. How is that kind of lobby ever going to work? No matter what country the host is from somebody will have problems. If it picks a UK host then the Europeans will have issues, choose a European host and the UK players will have issues.
The game needs a "local only" option in match making like Black Ops had.

They need to fix it as it's ruining what it a superb MP game.
 
Has to be the worse COD ever , think the makers of COD have shot them selfs in the foot now , no claymores ect , Search & Destroy is not fun anymore

No, it's miles better than Ghosts ever will be.

Claymores would be useless in this what with all the verticality.
 
Trying to give this a fair chance but so far the campaign is pretty weak for a COD, some of the animation seems worse than the previous games, gun sounds are weak and all the guns seem the same, the survival mode isn't a patch on the older modern warfare one and the mutliplayer is a poor mans Titanfall with horrendous lag. Really want to like it but don't see it being a keeper.

I never understand the abuse that ghosts gets, the single player was far better at the very least.
 
Why do you rely on claymores so much? Everyone just had to use SitRep in older COD's. They just encourage camping and considering this COD revolves around aerial assault, I.E.D's and such on the ground seem pointless.
